- coheedcollapse, on 01/08/2009, -0/+11Is this spam or something? There are like hundreds of really quality free Wordpress themes, why the hell would you pay for one?
These don't even have any extra features or anything. They're literally the same as the free themes, only not free at all.
I've gone through like four themes, but the one that I'm using right now (Blatant sitepimp incoming - http://www.cityeyesphoto.com/blog) is just as good if not better (in my opinion), than a lot of these. It has a non-free version with a bunch of extra features, but I absolutely don't need them. - IamNomad, on 01/07/2009, -5/+14Dugg for being on one page.
However, im not sure about paying for themes for wordpress ??? - serif69, on 01/08/2009, -0/+8I want to pay for a web site that looks exactly like someone else's website.
- JamesBondJr, on 01/07/2009, -1/+7I've found a lot of Wordpress themes that fit my needs perfectly, were very customizable, and looked great --- all for free. Don't waste the money, unless you're new to it all
- kingp, on 01/08/2009, -0/+6I'm sorry, but who wants to pay 70 bucks for a wordpress theme. Not me. Buried.
- KernelXP, on 01/08/2009, -1/+6Buried for having to pay for Wordpress themes. There are much better ones out there for free.
- toledojon, on 01/08/2009, -0/+4Really slick themes, but I have to agree with the consensus, paying for WordPress themes seems a bit counterintuitive to me...
- frjsanders, on 01/07/2009, -3/+7You should just subscribe to this blog... Really
- se7envii, on 01/07/2009, -1/+4Yeah why pay for a theme that you're going to have to customize heavily anyway? Unless you want to pay $70 and have your site look like others who bought the same thing.
- slightlyoffbeat, on 01/08/2009, -1/+4there are lots of great free wordpress themes. But I have to admit, the THiCK theme looks top notch.
- Madsen, on 01/08/2009, -2/+4iNove...and it's free! http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/inove
- Atsumori, on 01/08/2009, -1/+3There was only really one good theme, even then, not worth it.
- coheedcollapse, on 01/08/2009, -0/+2Digg linkpost fail. Oh well, I'm sure you get the idea even without it.
- JackpotCity, on 01/09/2009, -0/+2I agree, those boys at WooThemes are making some really nice ones.
- number2trek, on 01/08/2009, -0/+2Really like the themes from Revolution 2. I'm currently using the "TV" Theme ( http://www.thatisfun.com ), which I think is a nice theme for videos
- astorg, on 01/09/2009, -0/+1I never cease to be amazed by the bad taste that people display in their WordPress blogs.
- Hypernation, on 05/11/2009, -0/+1That's because you kept the parenthesis in. I did the same.
- willhaynes, on 02/08/2009, -0/+1No extra features?
You mean like the alternate color schemes? Alternate layouts? Free support? A good solid framework underneath to develop and customize off of?
Licensed themes aren't for everyone, but they have sure have a place in the market. - whiteeagle131, on 01/09/2009, -0/+1People who buy 'premium' WP themes should be killed.
- inactive, on 01/09/2009, -0/+1A winner is you!
- JoelJ, on 01/08/2009, -1/+1Now they're not going to be so cool because everyone is going to have them.
- immatellyouwhat, on 01/08/2009, -2/+2Dugg for Mad Men style one
- myblogstartup, on 01/08/2009, -0/+0Why not make your own? It's really cool knowing that you didn't go on the internet trying to find one already made! Here's my most recent one that I think I did pretty well on:

It's really easy to do too, just make the layout using regular HTM: or whatever and then slap a few codes, then you're done. - kodybryson, on 01/08/2009, -2/+2Wow, those themes really suck!
- IamNomad, on 01/08/2009, -2/+2I got dugg down for so many people agreeing with me .. interesting.
- buddyw, on 01/08/2009, -4/+3Buried. They didn't include my favorite WordPress theme, "CPU Quota Exceeded."
- mintblogger, on 01/08/2009, -2/+1Not that much great list.
- theweblug, on 01/08/2009, -2/+1Uhh.. every 2.6 theme works with 2.7
