Not only that but textures are ambiguous. Anyone can make a texture as long as they have a camera that has a micro feature. Buried for who cares and because you can't judge or grade a texture.

- DaltonZ, on 02/07/2009, -0/+3To be perfectly honest, a lot of those are not only poor textures, but poor pictures. There's some that are just plain out of focus. Why go through the trouble of making a list of 100 if you have to make a good percentage of them filler? Cut the damned list down to 50 and only post the GOOD ones. Buried.

They will work. Nice collection, good post.

but, these photos (most of them, anyway) would work fine simply as textures.
i know plenty of folks who do very interesting post-processing of their photography through applying a photograph of something simply as a texture that they composite in very interesting ways. tons of these photos would work out great in that context. - Zilk, on 02/07/2009, -0/+1Do you use this program??
