- shindig111, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1This is stupid... Never do they say what they deal with... its scam and spam...
- rdpniners, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1shindig, I manage the affiliate program, and have no idea what you're talking about. JotSpot is in no way running a scam.

Product Manager JotSpot - aaronroe, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0JotSpot is running a scam? Is this similar to how JotSpot buys up other companies trademarked names in Google Ad Words? I know they do this.
Anyway http://blog.jot.com/archives/2006/05/18/do-you-digg-the-jot-affiliate-program/ seems like an astroturf effort to be noticed. No digg. - rdpniners, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Again, this is not a scam. And companies are allowed to buy other company names as keywords. Company A, cannot however, use Company B's trademark in its ad copy. You guys need to get your facts straight.
- Altass, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0JotSpot Scam? Does this have something to do with how JotSpot has their contractors call up other companies under the guise of a sales call and pump them for information and then remessage based on their findings?
- djbutterfly, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Oh boy... This is happened to be a startup company starting an Affiliate program based on company interests and its community developers' requests. Their compensation plan on $1 per user is about the same as other startups. However, they offer $25 for your 1st referral to give you enough excitement to start with and jump start your Affiliate account. You would have to refer enough users to pass the $50 mark to earn your 1st check. This is not a scam. They even detail how they pay you with pay-pal.
I happen to know a lot about Affiliate programs and on-line reward programs. I have tested many programs along with my friends in our spare time.
Question: What make you think this is a scam? - djbutterfly, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1BTW, I really expect someone to response to that question.
Question: What make you think this is a scam?
What facts have you gathered to prove your points in supporting this is a scam? I need facts here... - djbutterfly, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1No response? If no one can provide any fact by 5/29/06, we can declare the following statement: This is not a scam.
- bigellow, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Rather than calling this a scam, I would just call this one broken. Visiting http://affiliates.jot.com seems to produce 404 errors when you try to click the necessary links to continue. Perhaps this was due to the recent Google deal?
