- jd33, on 02/29/2008, -11/+165There's a function in your browser where you can actually bookmark the entire xkcd site.
- chubbstar, on 02/29/2008, -8/+89you must be pretty passionate to go looking for it in the upcoming section.
- anagoge, on 02/29/2008, -1/+81Whoa, steady there with those crazy ideas of the future.
- markwilcox, on 02/29/2008, -15/+74I've noticed less and less xkcd getting on the front page now, so it's fine for people to submit them but you don't need to complain any more. Usually 1/3 a week will get to the front page which is better than 3 a week. They still deserve to be on the front page though =)
- monkeyshines, on 02/29/2008, -6/+50I love that feeling you get when you start to realize that you're dreaming. Most of the time, I will start to wake up soon after I have the realization but, once in a blue moon, I'll remain asleep and can subtly alter everything that happens for a short while.
Dreaming rules. - EntangledPhysx, on 02/29/2008, -17/+55PEOPLE OF DIGG: Just bookmark XKCD and be done with it.
- rivalius13, on 02/29/2008, -10/+45Alt title: Well *I* think I'm real. Look at me. Look at my face. Cut me an I'll bleed. What more do you want? Please don't go.
- chubbstar, on 02/29/2008, -9/+44its a shame you dont have something better to be passionate about.
- jibii, on 02/29/2008, -0/+28It's called Lucid Dreaming. It's pretty awesome.
- inactive, on 03/01/2008, -1/+27Or I could just bookmark digg - that's like bookmarking the entire Internet with one link.
- BestJaxx, on 02/29/2008, -12/+36Burying triweekly buriers of triweekly xkcd AWESOMENESS
- NeoCortex, on 02/29/2008, -0/+22Next you'll be telling me that I could even bookmark all of Cracked if I wanted to. You're loony.
- haveacigar, on 02/29/2008, -4/+25Maby if you keep telling yourself that.... it will actually come true.....
- lordenlil, on 02/29/2008, -2/+20That was pretty creepy for xkcd.
- ColinCampbell, on 02/29/2008, -6/+23I don't get this triweekly bury *****. Great content deserves to be on the front-page no matter if the same provider makes it 1 time a year or 1 time a day.
- manitoba98xp, on 03/01/2008, -1/+17xkcd has you covered: http://xkcd.com/386/
- megamod, on 02/29/2008, -0/+16IDK why you guys are picking on monkeyshines and digging him down. I can TOTALLY relate to it. Those are my favorite dreams ever, I feel like freaking Neo "bending the rules of physics". If you're going to digg him down at least give him a freaking comment explaining yourself.
- Enochyang, on 03/01/2008, -1/+16A long time ago, I once had an incredibly vivid dream in which I met a girl, had a relationship and fell in love with her. The dream felt like it spanned across several years and when I suddenly woke up, I was deeply affected. This was the only time I've ever felt heart broken from a dream. I'll never forget that dream...
- Vapor17, on 02/29/2008, -3/+17BLASPHEMY!
- inactive, on 02/29/2008, -0/+10If that was sarcasm: Well played! I lol'd :)
A couple of the comics I had to go digging through my old Calculus & Differential Equations books to figure out how exactly they were funny :P - merper, on 03/01/2008, -2/+12I liked it. For people who aren't getting his meaning, imagine that every time you dream, you create a real world.
And every time you wake up everyone in that world dies. So you're conducting genocide every night and there's no way you can stop it from happening. - Akaji, on 03/01/2008, -2/+11It's only a lame ass-comic to those who don't get the jokes. Incidentally, those who don't get the jokes are those who really shouldn't have been on Digg in the first place (that is, back when it was actually a technology/computing site).
- adooga, on 03/01/2008, -0/+9She will die if he wakes up.
- daRoach, on 03/01/2008, -1/+10"I hate dreaming because when you want to sleep, you want to sleep. Dreaming is work. Next thing you know, I have to build a go-cart with my ex-landlord."
--Mitch Hedberg - floridiot2, on 02/29/2008, -0/+8didn't you see the matrix? it's called residual self image.
- mithrasinvictus, on 03/01/2008, -0/+8Next some other sci-fi nut will claim there's some kind of xkcd feed i could subscribe to and somehow magically merge its contents with a similar feed from digg.
nice comic though, but i can find them on my own. - kingvik, on 03/01/2008, -1/+8You can't put bookmark's into a computer, they go into books.
- addysonclark, on 02/29/2008, -4/+11They aren't all supposed to be funny....
Xkcd : " A comic of romance, sarcasm, math, language" - Spyder2k, on 03/01/2008, -1/+8She isn't real...I can't make her real.
The nightmare is in waking up. - vinecrawler, on 03/01/2008, -2/+9we are bookmarking it.... socially.
- inactive, on 03/01/2008, -0/+6I actually dugg you up because I admittedly did get a chuckle from that one, but that could apply to either side of the little "me vs. Digg" scuffle.
- BestJaxx, on 03/01/2008, -5/+11Or allowing people who may be new and never heard of it, or simply forgot to check today, to see such an amazing comic.
- hunkster2010, on 03/01/2008, -0/+6In his dream he knows that it's a dream. The other person is telling him not to wake up or they will die which give a sense of reality to the person and maybe they did die because he woke up. Not very funny, really, but kind of thought provoking
- TheWindBlows, on 03/01/2008, -0/+6then your 200 TiB Raid setup will complain of low disk space.
- RBrenner14, on 02/29/2008, -4/+9Worse comment ever.
- SSUK, on 03/01/2008, -0/+5I broke my floppy drive doing that...
- xptoast, on 03/01/2008, -0/+5Thank you for being more intellegent that the fools that are currently burrying your comment.
- Latentsage, on 03/01/2008, -0/+4I mildly agree with you...
We get the point, xkcd is great and wonderful. Stop whoring every new comic to the front page. - MadOtaku, on 03/01/2008, -0/+4Though not romantic in nature, I've had a dream that spanned years. It's the worst feeling ever when you wake up; imaging if everyone you met and the memories you made for the last 3-4 years (all of which were pretty good) suddenly dissolved and you found yourself in bed in the "past".
- Dkittels, on 02/29/2008, -1/+5I've actually had this dream.
- AngryAngryBrian, on 03/01/2008, -0/+4More and more of his comics lately have been kind of depressing. To be honest I am a little concerned.
- hiplibrarian, on 02/29/2008, -3/+7worse than what?
...oh, i get it! you're an idiot. - alexforcefive, on 02/29/2008, -8/+11He's dreaming about a sexy girl and she's making him feel guilty about waking up. It's not a good comic* at all, I don't know why it got submitted
*in general I love xkcd. I mean THIS one isn't good - inactive, on 03/01/2008, -0/+3why are you being dug down, did people not catch the xkcd refrence
maybe they need a refresher http://xkcd.com/240/ - Aidje, on 03/01/2008, -0/+2Part of it is a loose quote from The Merchant of Venice.
- Asdfglpwglion, on 03/01/2008, -2/+4NullPolarity Buried it here too: http://digg.com/comics_animation/xkcd_Nightmares
- sittered, on 03/01/2008, -0/+2And...a thousand pardons. This is the wrong strip.
- inactive, on 02/29/2008, -0/+2Apparently you can plan to have a lucid dream and actually control what you dream about. ie "live" out your desires.
- gute123, on 03/01/2008, -0/+2I was just going to ask if anyone else knew about those extra lines that are in every xkcd comic. sometimes the extra line joke is better than the actual comic
- Kohaxx, on 03/01/2008, -1/+3They occasionally have bouts of emo.
