- laofmoonster, on 11/02/2009, -12/+1408This is the most complicated xkcd ever!
- BuryMePlease, on 11/02/2009, -13/+766This is the biggest XKCD ever.
- binky79, on 11/02/2009, -158/+883This is the best xkcd ever!
- trisweb, on 11/02/2009, -9/+582Wow. This is intense. I can't imagine the amount of work that went into it, studying the plots and getting it accurate, and then drawing it in such detail... amazing.
Gosh, I'm sure glad we have xkcd to do the truly important work of our age. If they didn't do it, who would? - thelastknowngod, on 11/02/2009, -6/+323dugg for Primer.
- Archaic1, on 11/02/2009, -4/+267Wait, so which line do I get onto if I want to get off at Times Square?
- suprememilo, on 11/02/2009, -6/+267Damn this might actually be the most intricate XKCD ever.
- jtibble, on 11/02/2009, -12/+225This is the most beautifully complex XKCD ever!
Primer makes my brain explode... I must have watched it 3 times and still don't get it. - UbIwerks, on 11/02/2009, -2/+18512 Angry Men is one fantastic movie. Watch it.
- getmeawhopper, on 11/02/2009, -14/+170This is the ٩(̾๏̮̮̃̾๏̃̾)۶ xkcd ever!
- OSXpert, on 11/02/2009, -7/+141I'm mildly offended at the implication that Boba Fett is dead.
- 12916studios, on 11/02/2009, -2/+134Then let's save them the time, because it's on Google Video:
Link: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=3909854615 ... - deadguysleeps, on 11/02/2009, -2/+125i have a feeling people will go to torrent sites to search for Primer
- 12916studios, on 11/02/2009, -2/+116Primer is probably the most accurate one of all, actually.
- LoneWolf01, on 11/02/2009, -23/+112Dugg for consistency.
- heroicus, on 11/02/2009, -10/+92This is the lamest comment ever.
- antdude, on 11/02/2009, -7/+88Don't forget to click to see a bigger image.
- Ghostalker, on 11/02/2009, -3/+8312 Angry Men, not as complicated as other movies, but better in a lot of ways.
- DMCer, on 11/02/2009, -1/+76Primer is an amazing film. In the director's commentary, they say 90% of the scenes were shot in just a single take because they couldn't afford extra film. You can't even tell.
- wettestwillie, on 11/02/2009, -2/+74Which one of you is going to check for accuracy?
- ThinkCenter, on 11/02/2009, -12/+84This is the most detailed xkcd ever!
- CrazyEddie041, on 11/02/2009, -5/+77Dugg for non-4chan-spawned meme.
- VegaObscura3, on 11/02/2009, -0/+71We all learned this from porn.
- giz0r, on 11/02/2009, -1/+68Dugg for effort
- CapeKid, on 11/02/2009, -2/+69Primer is the time travel movie for real nerds.
- samk, on 11/02/2009, -1/+63It happened a long time ago...
They're all dead. - Klaky, on 11/02/2009, -2/+58I've never Dugg an XKCD submission before. But damn this was impressive.
- unabsolute, on 11/02/2009, -8/+63Drawing this in such detail, mucho kudos. Knowing these plots like the back of his hand... pfffft. I know many guys (and several women) that can recite these plots backwards in Klingon. Of course most don't know where the g-spot is and the ones that do know have one.
I suppose you were not a Computer Science Major? - heatsink, on 11/02/2009, -2/+55Primer has one of the coolest movie time-travel mechanisms, but takes several repeat viewings to sort out. Wikipedia's explanation also helps: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Time_Travel_Meth ...
- superhoff, on 11/02/2009, -1/+46I want a poster of this.
- Dabek, on 11/02/2009, -18/+63Binky, you should just start submitting these articles so you can also be the first to comment.
Still, good job in keeping up with tradition. - Gbobrt4, on 11/02/2009, -4/+48One of the squiggle circles near the top right on primer is wrong.
- PartyCat, on 11/02/2009, -1/+38this is digg. i bet the percentage would be higher then the general populace.
- 12916studios, on 11/02/2009, -2/+36That's one of the most accurate depictions of Primer's timeline I've ever seen.
Seen it twice, and understand a decent chunk of it, but only thanks to hours of pouring over supplemental diagrams and descriptions. Man, I love that movie. - CapeKid, on 11/02/2009, -3/+37Fair warning to those of you watching, most of you will hate it.
Though 10% of you will absolutely love it. I'm a 10%er - wrathchilde, on 11/02/2009, -2/+36Let's redo it using the book! I miss Tom Bombadil, and Sauruman does NOT die in Isengard.
- cptcliche, on 11/02/2009, -1/+33Well, from what I could tell, LOTR, Star Wars, Jurassic Park, and 12 Angry Men were dead on. Dunno bout Primer. But wow, that must've taken a lot of time to do
- Psygnosis, on 11/02/2009, -2/+32Primer is also streaming on Netflix (and DVD of course)
http://www.netflix.com/Movie/Primer/60034782 - tgc1, on 11/02/2009, -1/+29Just saved me 2 hours. Thanks.
- greensky, on 11/02/2009, -5/+33Primer was a great movie, I may need to watch it again sometime soon.
- Psygnosis, on 11/02/2009, -2/+29clever girl
- jaytea90, on 11/02/2009, -2/+28Wikipedia :D
- WileyII, on 11/02/2009, -8/+33......because people can't figure out they just have to click on the image?
- SeekerDarksteel, on 11/02/2009, -1/+26Lando owned the Falcon, then lost it to Han in (iirc) a card game.
- MrBabyMan, on 11/02/2009, -3/+27Here's the best non-squiggly-line diagram of Primer's timeline I've seen:
http://www.freeweb.hu/neuwanstein/primer_timeline. ...
Granted, it doesn't make it less confusing. - 12916studios, on 11/02/2009, -2/+26Scientists lauded the film and its director, stating that if time travel was possible, that this is how it would most likely be done. That's pretty cool, given that Shane Carruth essentially learned all the physics used in the film while he was making it.
- crackshot91, on 11/02/2009, -7/+30Jesus ***** Christ.
Now that's dedication. \m/ - solmakou, on 11/02/2009, -1/+24http://tinyurl.com/yjk9vlv
- LethalLink, on 11/02/2009, -11/+34The next xkcd will be even better.
- uevan, on 11/02/2009, -2/+24I thought i was the only one who looked for confusing plot explanations on Wikipedia.
