- ChonoonFiend, on 02/11/2009, -11/+85Nice reposting of an old comic.
- TheMishap, on 02/12/2009, -11/+61why would you submit an old xkcd?
- Spartacusprime, on 02/12/2009, -5/+54Wait a minute, it's not Friday.
- inactive, on 02/11/2009, -12/+61What I like about XKCD is that his cartoons are almost like his diary, and it makes me remember about my own experiences when I was in college :-)
- casspa, on 02/11/2009, -12/+51Valentines Day Fail.
- pope7, on 02/12/2009, -6/+42Worst XKCD to read a day after a brutal breakup ever.
- BorsKaegel, on 02/11/2009, -9/+39My girlfriend never gives in like that. It changes from a simple 3 word phrase of affection to a battle of submission.
- metalgel, on 02/12/2009, -7/+35digg.com - ***** stick figure comics, weed and koalas.
- MxM111, on 02/12/2009, -5/+31Yeah.
- TheNyquilKid, on 02/12/2009, -7/+24I'm a huge fan of xkcd, I like them being posted on digg because I like digg user comments on them, however, posting old comics is probably where the line needs to be drawn.
- MxM111, on 02/12/2009, -3/+19Yeah.
- inactive, on 02/12/2009, -1/+17If you think that was bad, you're not going to like this Saturday...
- ImmediateAction, on 02/12/2009, -2/+17OOOOoh, submission....?
- inactive, on 02/12/2009, -2/+16But....it isn't....
...never mind... - gramathy, on 02/12/2009, -3/+14My normal approach is useless here.
- inactive, on 02/12/2009, -3/+13it depends on how old you are. When you are a teenager, early 20's you have NOTHING to say to a girl you "love", you just have no clue about love (and probably XKCD either, still too young). So the best you can come with is a 'no, I love you more'. So it's funny because it happen to most people.
happen/will happen to you certainly. - fcruz1331, on 02/12/2009, -1/+10for the Diggs
- matthobbs05, on 02/12/2009, -1/+7(542 - 44) / 3 = 166
Assuming the comics have always been released three times per week, probably about 166 weeks old.
I didn't even think XKCD had been around that long. The domain was apparently first registered on 25th of January, 2003 - mtrem225, on 02/12/2009, -5/+11Meh... old news... I assume most of us who read xkcd have read all of them through
- anarchyinthekr, on 02/12/2009, -2/+7so true, yet i apparently enjoy all of these because i keep coming back
- Archaic1, on 02/12/2009, -2/+7It takes a pretty arrogant person to consider their style of humour to be the only worthwhile type.
- rpgguy1o1, on 02/12/2009, -2/+7serializing your lovelife in webcomic form?
- blumer, on 02/12/2009, -2/+7Someday, you will.
- inactive, on 02/12/2009, -1/+5http://xkcd.com/63/
- belebih, on 02/12/2009, -1/+5Whoosh...
- callinthelaw69, on 02/12/2009, -2/+6...what the flying ***** are you talking about?
- Sonixunite, on 02/12/2009, -2/+6No one really thought you would.
- cyrix, on 02/12/2009, -2/+6Wow.... It's not supposed to reflect society today.... Not to mention your trying to sound all hipster just makes you sound like a douche. He's not trying to appeal to todays society, he has a niche demographic, and I think he caters to it pretty well.
- Konrad9, on 02/12/2009, -2/+5This scared the ***** out of me, I was freaking out about what day it was till I saw the number in the URL.
- mrnobody546, on 02/12/2009, -1/+4I really hate this time of year....and no, not Black History month.
- supermanly, on 02/12/2009, -4/+7At your service, shovels at the ready.
- skywake, on 02/12/2009, -3/+6With that reasoning why would you bother posting that comment? There are people who hate XKCD. Everyone knows that there are people who hate XKCD. There is no reason for you to keep bringing up how you hate XKCD everytime it hits the FP.
And perhaps, just maybe, people like XKCD and other things to hit the frontpage because they enjoy them. Personally, I look forward to the days that XKCD and Zero Punctuation hit the FP because I enjoy some of the comments. Big emphasis on the word "some"... some on the other hand see the need to say the same thing everytime it hits the FP. *rolls eyes* - inactive, on 02/12/2009, -1/+4haven't you ever eaten koala? taste just like bacon!
- hammburglar, on 02/12/2009, -1/+4no bacon? did you just come out of an underground vault or something?
- belebih, on 02/12/2009, -0/+3...and kills you inside, because it makes the one you love happy...
... only to have that sacrifice thrown back at your face when she eventually cheats on you and tries to ***** you into blaming yourself so she's free of guilt since you already let her know you're a glutton for punishment when it comes to her because you love her so much...
/bitter - Shados, on 02/12/2009, -0/+2Why does this have so many diggs? Seriously? This is what the internet has come to. :<
- inactive, on 02/12/2009, -1/+3yea but definitely needs more koala!
- snareguy17, on 02/12/2009, -4/+6***** that.
- RBobby, on 02/12/2009, -0/+2Stupid/doesn't belong on front page.
- aftern9ne, on 02/12/2009, -6/+8No.
- bduddy, on 02/12/2009, -1/+3To get FP'd?
- inactive, on 02/12/2009, -0/+2exactly
- Sonixunite, on 02/12/2009, -3/+5Funny, his earlier comics seem like they were headed in a completely different direction than the newer ones.
- Yoshiler, on 02/12/2009, -1/+3***** YOU!
I had not lost for about 4 months.
So, therefore, I must say, I LOST. - KeithA45, on 02/12/2009, -0/+2seriously, why submit a very old XKCD?
- dafpoo, on 02/12/2009, -1/+2It's sad, because it's true :(
- bagboyrebel, on 02/12/2009, -1/+2I don't mind XKCD, but this is from when he still used graph paper. That's a bit old, don't you think?
- DiTherBox, on 02/12/2009, -0/+1Although I like some of XKCDs. They're not all funny. Stop submitting every freakin' piece of XKCD comics. Please.
No, really I beg you. Stop. - guyperson, on 02/12/2009, -2/+3At least I'm not consciously thinking about breathing.
...and blinking. - inactive, on 02/12/2009, -1/+2win
