- Syric, on 11/06/2009, -6/+385Y'know, this was kinda touching.
- heroicus, on 11/06/2009, -12/+343This is the most philosophical xkcd ever!
- binky79, on 11/06/2009, -146/+442This is the best xkcd ever!
- binky79, on 11/06/2009, -10/+260are you dog food?
- Canadaa, on 11/06/2009, -4/+182within a minute?? are you a computer program?
- TimmyOToole, on 11/06/2009, -7/+160Reminded me of: http://i.imgur.com/tQFeh.gif
- KibblesnBitts, on 11/06/2009, -3/+124are you a country?
- WoollyMittens, on 11/06/2009, -2/+118Organ donation should be opt-out, not opt-in. Most people don't care either way, but expect to have their life saved by it.
- sghod1212, on 11/06/2009, -11/+123XKCD's been getting better lately.
- yoshi8710, on 11/06/2009, -4/+111I liked how the legos were colorful. Makes you think of a more simple time.
- Aneamic, on 11/06/2009, -11/+100This is the longest running joke ever!
- starkerspiel, on 11/06/2009, -0/+85I think in the first two frame's she's a child playing with her father, and in the last two frames she's an adult reflecting on the lesson her father taught her long ago.
- KokomoNYC, on 11/06/2009, -6/+80This is the most socially conscious xkcd ever!
- PhoenixAvatar2, on 11/06/2009, -2/+65Except that alcoholics are usually denied transfers because they will likely destroy the new organ.
- tomfn, on 11/06/2009, -9/+70I'm just breaking in my kidneys so the next person has decent alcohol tolerance.
- Tarantulus, on 11/06/2009, -1/+55there is nothing quite as painful as standing on a lego with bare feet
- stuwanker, on 11/06/2009, -1/+47I agree with you, but EGAD, you gotta get rid of that furry Firefox icon.
- Atario, on 11/06/2009, -14/+59He's extremely committed to his special brand of stupidity.
- thewhits, on 11/06/2009, -9/+49Did I miss something?
When did binky come back? I thought Digg decided he was over? I'm not complaining really, I enjoyed his commitment. - Latigoliath, on 11/06/2009, -2/+42It´s been getting really good. Actually this is the best xkcd ever.
- heroicus, on 11/06/2009, -3/+43Buried for "Dug".
- YancyFryJr, on 11/06/2009, -5/+44Wait, so is the girl an adult that plays with LEGO with her elderly father, or is she a little kid that is signing up to be an organ donor?
Regardless, good stuff. - tomfn, on 11/06/2009, -1/+38a tip of the hat for warped foresight.
- diggdong, on 11/06/2009, -2/+38Doug for Consistency party.
- Rhydeble, on 11/06/2009, -7/+42No way I'm gonna be a Donor.
See, if there's a lack of donor's, a lot of rich people are going to fund research that goes into artificial organ making and cloning for extra organs and stuff.... or they're gonna kill hobo's. Anyway, you being a donor might put a stop to our dystopian cyberpunk future, I hate you. - Atario, on 11/06/2009, -15/+48This is the most tiresome Digg comment meme ever!
- KokomoNYC, on 11/06/2009, -1/+31Yes. Alcoloholic. Basic English indeed.
- jessemoya, on 11/06/2009, -6/+36Maybe today's a good day to make sure you're signed up and that your family knows you're a donor?
- darzeecompany, on 11/06/2009, -2/+30Even though I'm just young and restless, I found your comment to be like a guiding light towards some bold and beautiful general hospital where all my children were born.
- zombiebovine, on 11/06/2009, -1/+27My dad died last week, this made me feel better. His last wish was to be spread over the Catskill Mountains where he would be part of life once again.
RIP Daddy. - purplelantern, on 11/06/2009, -0/+26This is actually very close to the concept of buddhism... When you see a tree you might think it is a tree. But in fact what you are seeing are leaves, branches, .... millions of things that are together ***temporarily*** to form the object that you think you are seeing. In the buddhism sense, "tree"/object don't exists. The millions of relationship does. And only temporarily. Loving something/someone is the source of pain because this encourages the illusion that object exists when all they are are transient relationship that are changing.
- Chrismf112, on 11/06/2009, -1/+26Wow. Never had an existential crisis over a comic before. Thanks a bunch Xkcd.
- Yahn, on 11/06/2009, -0/+24You mean your liver
- starkerspiel, on 11/06/2009, -4/+28I'll call them Legos if I damn well please.
- CrazyEddie041, on 11/06/2009, -2/+25Dugg for non-4chan-spawned meme.
- Screenguy, on 11/06/2009, -2/+25It really was. Not your typical punny xkcd, but a deep one instead. I like it.
- Serinus, on 11/06/2009, -0/+23I'd like you to take a look at your statements.
"I know i will be buried."
"You can't bury the truth." - Dalif, on 11/06/2009, -1/+23That's actually well spotted. I hadn't thought about it like that, but your perspective made it even better. Thanks.
- teqmock5, on 11/06/2009, -4/+23I've illustrated two graphic organziers to help people understand this concept.

-Oscar Wilde - stooge4ever, on 11/06/2009, -3/+20a wag of my finger for dying and letting your organs go to waste.
- hairyblue, on 11/06/2009, -4/+21this is a more deep and meaningful xkcd than usual...
- sirducki, on 11/06/2009, -1/+18Never gona give you up, never gona let you down...wait what
- WoollyMittens, on 11/06/2009, -0/+16[citation needed]
Please note that spreading your ignorance is detrimental to humanity. - danj484, on 11/07/2009, -0/+15Their comic's what?
- narhasan, on 11/06/2009, -6/+21An existential quandary elegantly phrased by a subtle-wise stick-sketcher. Paced perfectly to tickle the mind; first come the building blocks, then come the bigger ideas.
P.S. Is there anything Lego CAN'T teach us? - WoollyMittens, on 11/06/2009, -3/+17Because only smart people get it.
- wannarto, on 11/06/2009, -1/+15and the next will be even better
- UselessTrivia, on 11/06/2009, -1/+15I played with legos my entire goddamned childhood. I will not be changing how I choose to pluralize them at this point.
- saikyan, on 11/06/2009, -0/+12...thats what she said
