- FlyingCaveman, on 10/14/2009, -2/+156I never wear one of those wrist thingies. I like to live dangerously.
- TrueJournals, on 10/14/2009, -4/+91It's funny because XKCD is having trouble right now, so "Temp" is probably just a temporary title, and not the actual comic title...
But dugg anyway.
[edit] It's up now... the title is actually "Static"... - mistergoomba, on 10/14/2009, -1/+49I'm surprised the Geek Squad fired him over that
- inactive, on 10/14/2009, -2/+44http://www.explainxkcd.com fixed that for you
- basickly, on 10/14/2009, -1/+39I wear fleece gloves when I install something.
- unknownpoltroon, on 10/15/2009, -4/+42Read a story bout a guy working in a computer shop. He and is girlfriend were into bondage, so one day she walks in, locks him to his bench with a collar and leash to mess with him. "Ill be back in an hour or so." His boss walks in a bit later and just stops and stares, the guy looks up, says "grounding strap" and goes back to work. Boss never brought it up again.
- Tarkaan, on 10/15/2009, -1/+30I hot swap IDE drives, because, bitch - yeah, I'm that hardcore.
- DarthVolta, on 10/14/2009, -3/+32I really had a hard time figuring out who was speaking.
- unknownpoltroon, on 10/15/2009, -0/+26I deserved that.
- inactive, on 10/15/2009, -8/+34Cool story, bro.
- dustout, on 10/15/2009, -1/+26wearing a wool sweater helps a bit as well, but only if you rub against a CRT monitor that hasn't been degaussed in over a year
- zzzpoohzzz, on 10/14/2009, -14/+39i feel bad for anyone who needs this explained.
- incubusbeatsall, on 10/14/2009, -4/+28Why would you feel bad? I'm pretty sure the average person won't know what an anti-static wriststrap is.
- diemunkiesdie, on 10/14/2009, -1/+25I wonder if I am tempting fate by digging this comment...
- linagee, on 10/15/2009, -2/+22I liked the part where they are both guys
- captininsanity, on 10/15/2009, -1/+20I don't like wearing those things, It just doesn't feel the same.

- rocknog, on 10/14/2009, -3/+20I never bother unplugging my computer when I install something. I also like to live dangerously.
- rocknog, on 10/14/2009, -2/+19The average person might not know, but this is digg and... well, okay, these days we seem to be mainly focused on politics, lists, and adorable animals, but there was a time when this was a pretty tech-focused site and so I think that majority of diggers will get it.
- Llanowar, on 10/15/2009, -0/+16I liked the part where you have homoerotic fantasies.
- TrueJournals, on 10/15/2009, -1/+14I'm not sure why you replied to my comment...

- yankeedollar, on 10/15/2009, -0/+6Terrible and incorrect.
How are we supposed to believe that a geek squad employee would ever have sex? - odxWallz, on 10/14/2009, -3/+8I don't know what this means, but I think you're trying to be witty. Dugg.
- chocotaco69, on 10/15/2009, -0/+5he's a dude playin a dude disguised as another dude.
- ThinkCenter, on 10/14/2009, -12/+17I lqtm'd
- omgwtflawl, on 10/15/2009, -1/+6I get the whole wrist strap/contraception thing, but I don't know who is talking in which speech bubble. It seems like the explainxkcd guy is also confused.
- TrueJournals, on 10/15/2009, -1/+6Well not anymore... at 11 pm, when the comics usually go up, there was basically a placeholder page that gave the comic the title "Temp". It was kind of weird.
- cyrix, on 10/15/2009, -0/+5Yeah? Well I wear fleece gloves AND footie pajamas.
- reddfoxx1562, on 10/15/2009, -3/+8This is literally not even a comic..... it's now just ***** writing.
- DaviDTC, on 10/15/2009, -0/+5I'm surprised digg doesn't just ban you to clear up some the reports they get.
- lucasftw, on 10/14/2009, -2/+7the explanation on http://www.explainxkcd.com is wrong too. from top to bottom in each panel:
1. Female, Male
2. Female, Female
3. Male, Female, Male
4. Male, Female, Male - chocotaco69, on 10/15/2009, -0/+4something that used to make me lol
- c0ncept, on 10/14/2009, -5/+9"I firmly believe that nothing can go wrong on a project if you're wearing one of those wrist things."
Unless if you're working on a monitor. - Jacob, on 10/15/2009, -1/+5The explanation is correct, it's about the direction the speech bubble originates from. Pointing down means girl up means guy. He doesn't talk about which is the first and which is the second. And It's obvious when the same person is speaking twice because the bubbles are connected...
- OrangeRevel, on 10/15/2009, -0/+4You gotta be able to feel the contours of the box.
- masterstghm, on 10/15/2009, -0/+3I pictured a Geek Squad tech using a condom as a cozy for his flash drive full of stolen photos.
- Nerden, on 10/15/2009, -0/+3I cover the bottom of my shoes in wirewool and make sure I wear metal gloves when doing anything with electricity.
