    If "drapes" are things that hang, and this character has really obvious hair with a really obvious color, and you can't figure out what "carpet is"...I can't be the one to tell you.

    That doesn't make much sense. What carpet? What upholstery? There's no way she could mistakenly think he was asking about a real room. She must be intentionally giving a nonsense answer -- but there is no joke.
