- 1921 diggs
- digg it
- andrewlinn, on 10/12/2007, -4/+58wow that guy can doodle... i wish i could draw like that
- Andicow, on 10/12/2007, -1/+15I can draw like that but I am nowhere near that creative.
That guy is awesome. - lagnut, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3His website: http://www.ljudbilden.com/
- RonDutt, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Apologies for hijacking the first post, but thought people would like a mirror since DuggMirror didnt catch it: http://www.rondutt.com/dugg_whiteboard/
No blog no spam no ads :) - TheWorm, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9Hey, the first actually amazing post on digg doesn't use the word amazing in the title.
- ljudbilden, on 10/12/2007, -0/+23(just to get this message a bit further up on the page)
well...hehe
i'd prefer a link to my YouTube page (to increase the stats) but hey...i got DUGG and that's pretty nice.
to answer a couple of questions.
it took me around 1,5-2 weeks to do it...but this is the short version
the looong version will be on the DVD next year.
the music is MINILOGUE (www.minilogue.com)
i can also tell you that i have a 23 min version with my own music.
and with the feedback i've gotten i see no reason why it shouldn't be released

thanks for all great feedback!!!

http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=kristoferstrom - nofxjunkee, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3That was amazing. Anyone else feel a little Dr. Suess influence there at parts?
- ericmoritz, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1Influenced by Dr Suess or Influenced by Drugs :)
- thinkalone, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4@ ljudbilden
hey, sorry for not linking more directly to your video in the original post, i didn't know any way to track down who had originally made the video.
i really like your illustration style and that video was a great way of showcasing it! like one person said, it's good to see a more "organic" type of animation in a world of computer-generated stuff.
keep up the good work! when i submitted this story and went to bed, it had 6 diggs. the number of diggs now and all the positive comments are a testament to your talent ; ) - ljudbilden, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2@ "thinkalone"
hey!
i love it anyway, some people have found their way from DIGG to my youtube page and i thank you for that!
all the best!
(go organic!) - srodolff, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Not Dr. Seuss. The Yellow Submarine.
Think Big Blue Meanies.........lol
- Andicow, on 10/12/2007, -1/+15I can draw like that but I am nowhere near that creative.
- exsst, on 10/12/2007, -5/+23That's amazing.
- unitedstatians, on 10/12/2007, -5/+35wow the busiest animation I've ever seen. damn you ADD!
- Diggemz, on 10/12/2007, -9/+27SHANANIGANS!
- drouk1556, on 10/12/2007, -35/+2obviously photoshopped.
- nextlife, on 10/12/2007, -3/+37Wow, very cool, must have taken forever
- Mengoxon, on 10/12/2007, -10/+0that's what I first thought - then I realized:
it's probably not all stop-motion. The artist probably did some parts with stop motion, but most parts on the computer. For example, when a drawing slowly appears, he probably made it with computer - ljudbilden, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8to "Mengoxon"
nope...it's all "for real" so...no computer post production.
(had to comment this...)

- Mengoxon, on 10/12/2007, -10/+0that's what I first thought - then I realized:
- chicken101, on 10/12/2007, -1/+43My mouth is agape. I love all the shape shifting.
- mousy, on 10/12/2007, -11/+22Looks like one of them stories where everyone is dugg down, no matter what they say.
- renatoc8, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5I only see one comment dugg down, and it was stupid.... "obviously photoshopped."...... how would that be photoshop..... wouldn't it just be easier to draw it with a marker like he did?...
- Mengoxon, on 10/12/2007, -7/+1uhhh... drawing it with a marker would be easier, but animating the drawings liking making them move would be easier using computer...
- sgu222e, on 10/12/2007, -4/+16thats pretty badass
- SeppukuBLUE, on 10/12/2007, -3/+14Wow. What a great concept.
- NiGHTSChao, on 10/12/2007, -6/+15Jesus christ that must of taken forever to do 0_0...
- Violentsa, on 10/12/2007, -1/+26flabbergasting.... very old-school MTV'ish in parts
- arunforce, on 10/12/2007, -15/+10Uh oh, here comes another full dugg down story. =(
- 4Prophecy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10That ***** awesome! I wonder how long that took.
- Tainek, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11Pretty Well done and presented, there isnt enough of this kind of art in todays computer driven world
- foxhaze, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11Dude. That was frigging unbelievable.
- Alegis, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12Watching it only once is not enough, a lot of cool drawings in there.
- tinkertoy, on 10/12/2007, -2/+14Wow. With all the computer animation out in theaters, it's refreshing to see the soul of a single animator in a simple drawing instead of a bunch of pixels manipulated by an army of animators on a renderfarm. Nicely done.
- realyst, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Great zombie Jesus, that was really well done. The guy's got talent oozing out of his pores.
Bookmarked and Dugg. - flamingmb, on 10/12/2007, -3/+8well now I know what an LSD trip is like.
- silverspyder, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5if it were possible to digg twice... I would.
- kamikazicondon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2WOW thats all i can say
- desert88, on 10/12/2007, -4/+4I wonder if this guy did Salvia lol.
- patsfan456, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9Stop-motion on a whiteboard = animorgasm
- OpenFuture, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3This guy is a fantastic artist! This is the most unique animation I have ever seen.
- breakbeat, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2That was incredible.
- listrophy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Where was the "Amazing" in the title? Surely this story deserves it.
- Rigbymatt, on 10/12/2007, -4/+3it looks like Japanise TV
- Skullpop, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Such beautiful drawings, yet only on screen for a few seconds sometimes..
Artworks in their own rights!- JasonZX12R, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2So true, each second is like a entirely new drawing. I couldnt even keep up with it all, but way awesome.
- painting, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2anyone know who did it?
- Volatile, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2He commented on this story a couple of times. Read from the top.
- waahooo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2This is one of the most creative things I've ever seen. This guy has one hell of an imagination.
Another similar animation: http://hanamushi.under.jp/flash/nyoki.htm
Not stop-motion, but equally as bugged out and creative. - SkittlesUSA, on 10/12/2007, -6/+0Wish I had that much time on my hands.
I could find the cure for cancer.- painting, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6yes, someone with talent doing something amazing that takes time MUST have no life.
But not you! right? you have a lot of life, so much life that I bet it was a hassle to squeeze in what little time you have to comment on this, what with you seizing the day everyday and what not.
- painting, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6yes, someone with talent doing something amazing that takes time MUST have no life.
- cwhitaker, on 06/03/2008, -0/+2getting high and watching that again lol j/p
- leoedin, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1The video seems to have been dugg (unsurprisingly, its a self-hosted one).
Ah well...does http://www.duggmirror.com work?- leoedin, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Ah well...it works now...
ignore the above :D
- leoedin, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Ah well...it works now...
- Tayls, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Watch this while listening to the cover of "Hey Ya" by Mat Weddle (submitted months ago). Results may vary, but I think I was just born again.
- r2builder, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I didn't see the original video (the page got dugg)
but I imagine this is it on youtube:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=u46eaeAfeqw
if it's not, it should be. - 48h69h, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0the number of dry-erase markers that must have taken simply appalls me...
- dskead, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Simply inspiring. I want this guy to design websites!
Does anyone know the track playing? - jokoon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Any idea for the song's title ?
- everfalling, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1holy crap that was awsome
- halosniper7, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1when i was watching that i had one thought: i didnt want it to stop, just go on forever.
- rubikfreak, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1This is brilliant. It's definitely my most favorite stop motion video yet.
- ljudbilden, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3well...hehe

http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=kristoferstrom - littlewonder, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0That was definitely the coolest thing I've seen in a while!
It kind of reminded me of the animation of the Beatles' Yellow Submarine movie.
Awesome! - AMDnVidiaATi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1That was amazing!
- gdm9000, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I'll have what he's having...
- whywait, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0I thought it was cool but it got boring after a while. Not to say that the guy isn't talented, he's amazing. Thought the demo was a bit long and after a while I was thinking, "ok, i get it". You know? Still props to him cause that was pretty cool.
- tektalk, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Hypnotic!
- stefilini, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The music sounds like it is from the game Rez! love it
