Either they bitch that it's too hard too understand (go read some more Ziggy, genius). Or they complain that it does workplace-related humor (which Dilbert and the Office evidently have sole proprietary rights to). Or now, with this comic, they bitch that it may have been influenced by a novel written 65-*****-years ago (gasp!) while patting themselves on the back for catching the reference.

    Seriously, was the 15 second/ 4-sentence-read too taxing for you? Please show me a modern comic that hasn't been influenced by something or someone. Then, when you haven't done that, sit down and write your own cartoon. Then let's see how successful you are at creating something that's completely devoid of influence and doesn't contain any subject matter that's appeared in any other media. Look forward to seeing the results!
