- Okari, on 10/10/2007, -3/+76The 90's were one of the best decades to grow up as a kid. It's depressing to see all the crap that kids have to watch these days.
- CaptShmo, on 10/10/2007, -1/+36here's 30 mins of 80s cartoons for us slightly older kids
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bto7l3cKhvk - SlackerCSB, on 10/10/2007, -1/+25I agree, but you sound like that old guy that tells the story about walking uphill to and from school....
- toMatto, on 10/10/2007, -1/+24Pretty much sums up my childhood. Dugg.
One question, though. I never knew about that third Sonic Cartoon, "Sonic Underground." When was that aired? - Beelzebub, on 10/10/2007, -0/+15...both ways...
- ontain, on 10/10/2007, -1/+14I'm 30 and i thought the Tiny Toons were great. they helped pave the way for Animaniacs and Pinky and the Brain :)
- adam84a, on 10/10/2007, -1/+14I'm sorry to hear that, I fear that means that you have no soul
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -2/+12The Bugs Bunny Road Runner Show ... Now THAT was a cartoon
- BigGrant, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9... in a snow storm ...
- plebiscite, on 10/10/2007, -0/+8Sherlock Holmes in the 22nd century?
- Schaefer33, on 10/10/2007, -2/+9Interesting watching the intros and listening to the lyrics that I never really noticed as a kid.
Also would have never seen the "Steven Spielberg presents" above the titles. - kman004, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7animaniacs taught me geography
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7Let's make a list of the crappy cartoon shows of today.
Naruto
Newer Pokemon
Naruto
camp lazlo - clarktechie, on 10/10/2007, -1/+8You call yourselves geeks! No one mentioned "ReBoot!"
http://youtube.com/watch?v=02ozMd2-MNk - redawgts, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7Futurama first aired in 1999. Technically still the 90's.
- jayness, on 10/10/2007, -1/+8Am I getting that old where people say remember watching 90s cartoons as a kid. Jeebus.
- z3r0c0O1, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7No Thundercats, Dexter's Labaratory, Cow and Chicken, Dragon Ball Z?
- BobbyMC, on 07/21/2008, -0/+6Tiny Toons... Animaniacs... Pinky and the Brain... Freakazoid...
Steven Spielberg is the balls. - Morphinity, on 10/10/2007, -2/+830 minutes well spent.
- fasda, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6where is Histeria the greatest cartoon that made history cool
- JAXXXON, on 10/10/2007, -2/+8Well I'm 17, and these are the shows I watched as a kid.
- shortarabguy, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6Isn't it kind of weird that a 30 minute video of the intros of a bunch of cartoons from the 90s is easier to watch than a 3 minute video of some crap that an idiot recorded on Youtube? Just something to think about when we ourselves think about posting a video online. "Does it beat a cartoon introduction?"
And it's sad, but I can't relate to anything after the first Sonic cartoon... - Scynet, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6The thing is, as long as you're loved as a kid, your childhood will be the best time of your life. Everyone will think their childhood as the most awesome years ever spent on Earth.
- sdcarter, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6Someone complaining within the first 3 posts?
- timmay, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4I'm pretty sure your the one thats 12 if you cant remember tinytoons
- Arapho, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Great collection, almost brought a tear to my eye seeing Gargoyles in the video, that had to be my favorite cartoon as a kid. Think I'm gonna have pick up some dvds of the show to relive those days.
- malacor, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4I agree w/ one exception: Foster's House of Imaginary Friends. Not nearly as good as the animainiacs but still, pretty decent.
- lucidapathy, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4I knew next to none of these. Granted I'm older then most of you apparently by a decade. For a REAL flash back to my childhood:

30 minutes of 80's cartoon intros.
Just pissed the 80's one missed my favorite cartoon as a kid M.A.S.K. - kansai22, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4That was great brought back some memories yet so many toons missing.
(Exosquad, Highlander the animated series, X men, Spiderman, Reboot, biker mice from mars, captian bucky ohare, iron man, hulk, every Anime toon, ect. - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Ok - WTF.... No Captain Planet?
- kansai22, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4This is due to society saying that violent cartoons need to be banned. Kids cartoons today are not even serious even the animes they show.
- igetnospamatall, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3i thought i wasn't going to watch the whole video, but 30 minutes went like that...
also, all the cartoon network shows (dexter's laboratory, cow & chicken, johnny bravo, Ed, Edd and Eddy, Powerpuff Girls, etc), all the marvel superhero shows (spiderman, x-men, ironman, hulk, the fantastic four), some more Disney stuff (like Gummy bears, Chip & Dale), The Adventures of Jonny Quest, Swat Kats, Voltron, Wacky Races (and its spinoffs with Muttley and the girl) could have been included. Jesus, it seems i was a TV-geek in the 90s - Intangible360, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4Wow, so many memories :)
- bagboyrebel, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4I consider ReBoot on of the most influential shows in my life.
- AllenL, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Around 1998 in the U.S.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sonic_Underground - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Flashback? Nostalgic are you? Jeebus, these shows were on not that long ago. How friggin' desperate are you for nostalgia? Exactly how much pot did you smoke in the 90s? How about Thundarr the Barbarian, Herculoids, etc.? You know, stuff that was on long enough ago that you CAN be nostalgic?
- Irfit, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3I really miss stuff like the animaniacs, beakman's world, freakazoid..etc. Now they have...what, the teenage robot? The shows targeted for kids suck nowadays.
- Vegiemaster, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4They ruined Sonic. The ones with the Freedom Fighters was the best.
- BeesH, on 10/10/2007, -2/+5"I hate the snow. I hate the snow. I hate the rain, I hate the sleet, but MAN, I really hate the snow."
- BobbyMC, on 07/21/2008, -0/+2I think the general rule of thumb is that a new unproven series generally has a more in depth opening theme for better exposition, which gives way to more runtime when shows become popular.
Even TMNT had a different theme after a while. - sofakinglazy, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2... with barely enough money to buy lunch ...
- bryant, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3Oh, lawd. There was a Back to the Future cartoon? Awesome.
Thanks for submitting this. Nice to go back and remember things like this every now and again. - peligros, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure definitely takes the cake for most unintentional comedy. I wish I could use that theme song as my ringtone...
Most triumphant indeed. - shortarabguy, on 10/10/2007, -1/+318 here, but same difference, and you're right. A twelve year old would be watching stuff from the turn of the century...
- Ubersmush, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Don't know how different the tv was in Britain at the time but I hardly recognised much of that! What about rugrats, scooby doo, wacky racers and that cartoon where music was banned? Also the pokemon theme tune rocks hard!
- BoMEpsilon, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2I love how Batman Beyond is immediately followed by Samurai Pizza Cats.
- itomixdotcom, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Wait just a minute. Bill and Ted made the list, and X-Men didn't?
- pod6isblowedup, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2The Tick was awesome.
- Smigge87, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2...in the snow...
- swazo, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2captain planet too.
