- inactive, on 04/17/2009, -0/+4One name, one movie- Barbarella.
- thisUserEye, on 04/17/2009, -0/+4They might be corny be at least they were being inventive, that in itself is hard to find with the onslaught of regurgated sequels in our time.
- inactive, on 04/17/2009, -0/+3Invasion of the Saucer-Men aliens are actually the inspiration for the design of Morbo on Futurama.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JU94q9xoMr8&fea ... - darkowl02, on 04/17/2009, -0/+2i like the robot with feelings she will always have to obey my commands!

I got me some researching to do to get that one. - Smokeydabear, on 04/17/2009, -1/+3This guy obviously doesn't know ***** about Plan 9 from Outer Space.
- unsigneddigger, on 04/17/2009, -0/+2You can get several of those posters on t-shirts at the Sci-Fi museum in Seattle. It's definitely worth visiting. (Sorry if this sounds like an advert)
- Wakkyweed, on 04/17/2009, -0/+2SEE Teenagers vs. the Saucer-Men!
SEE Disembodied hand that crawls...!
SEE Night the world nearly ended...!
Man, I gotta see that movie. - rif42, on 04/17/2009, -0/+2Exactly, that one was missing.
- doctechnical, on 04/17/2009, -0/+2While I'll admit that before "2001" good science fiction movies were as rare as hen's teeth, but there were a few gems. Forbidden Planet, The Day the Earth Stood Still, Andromeda Strain (NOT the ***** sci-fi channel miniseries, the '69 movie). And some of the old movies were fun to watch (even though the plots were silly) just because Ray Harryhausen did the stop-motion animation for the monsters.
- UnFriendlyFire, on 04/17/2009, -0/+1"Feminist Fembots from Femtopia"
- spongefrogdigg, on 04/17/2009, -0/+1Takes me back to a time when Boys read something more interesting than FHM
- graemee, on 04/17/2009, -1/+2I don't know what to think about it, but I've seen all these films.
- graemee, on 04/17/2009, -0/+1and how. Having watched it "cold" on TV. I thought it was pure camp and not a serious attempt at a film.
- gatorfree, on 04/17/2009, -2/+3The first time I saw Forbidden Planet I kept waiting for Leslie Nielsen to say: "I am serious... and don't call me Shirley."
- skintigh, on 04/17/2009, -0/+1Weren't all of those posters done by local artists that had no affiliation with the movie? I recall learning that they were hired by the individual theaters to make promotions, and most never saw the movie they were depicting...
- mlc1138, on 04/20/2009, -0/+1Agreed!
- KalZakath, on 04/17/2009, -2/+3Ah, Plan 9 from Outer Space. Such an amazing film :D

- crashbang, on 04/17/2009, -0/+1Invasion of the love robots has got to be one of the most awesome things I have ever seen.
- pelesinferno, on 04/17/2009, -0/+1wow i had no idea that women were so commonly carried away swooning by...well everyone. at last Galaxina can stand on her own, thats a bonus. maybe its because she's some kind of robot?
- drlha, on 04/17/2009, -1/+2Because man created them!
- shauntacular, on 04/17/2009, -0/+1Galaxina will be in my dreams tonight!

Truly an awe-inspiring movie. If you're a real fan of Ed Wood movies and you haven't already scene the "Ed Wood" movie (with Depp), find it. - rif42, on 04/17/2009, -0/+1Robot Monsters: Gorilla with a skeleton-face wearing a Russian cosmonaut helmet.
