- greenlight2001, on 12/20/2007, -0/+14If they wanted it to be a better pictorial spread, they should have taken pictures at the same angle as we see in the show. Like in the kitchen, they always use the same view point on the show, table in the middle of the screen, counter to the left, fridge behind the table. That way, if this house really is like the show's, it'll spark instant recognition in the viewer's mind. Just a thought.

- jayhawk88, on 12/20/2007, -0/+8There used to be threads on alt.tv.simpsons back in the day that talked about how if you use all the evidence from the series, the Simpson house cannot exist in real life. At least early on in the series, depending on the episode you watch, doorways would be on opposite sides of the room, the kitchen and dining room would be swapped, the kids rooms were never consistent as to which way they had windows facing, stuff like that. If you try to map the floorplan it becomes a giant nightmare of inconsistencies. After the first couple of seasons they standardized the floorplan a little, but even eagle eye viewers (i.e. nerds) will notice a room being in the wrong place once in a while.
