    April 11th, March 26th,14th and 12th are some pretty good ones.

  • OneZeroZeroOne, on 04/17/2008, -3/+7Probably going to make myself seem like an uncultured rube, but what is up with the New Yorker's comics? They're patently unfunny and always have been. Is it some sort of snobbish inside joke or secret handshake of the self-proclaimed upper echelons of society? Are you supposed to pretend that you think they're funny (or brainwash yourself into thinking so) so that you'll be accepted as a member of the elite crowd?

  • hoghug, on 04/17/2008, -0/+1I love New Yorker cartoons. I hate these animations. The brilliance of their cartoons is the simplicity of a single frame. A moment in time captured with a simple caption. Making these move and dragging out the punchline totally ruins the joke. It makes as much sense as animating the Mona Lisa and is about half as funny.
