He is still home schooled, and because of all the hoopla over his decision he is making $2000 for appearances. If you look at the Xbox360 leaderboards for Soothsayer by Buckethead he is currently 8th I think, so obviously he's not terrible at the game like people make it sound.

    It was a poor decision by him and his parents, but I wish the media would get the facts straight.

  • Her3t1k, on 08/21/2008, -0/+2There's a lot of focus on the parents here. I see a lot of comments about them needing discipline. I'm 18, just a few years ago I was 16 (obviously). I played guitar hero. I was good but I wasn't amazing. There was no way I was ***** stupid enough to quit school to play a video game. This kid needs a swift kick to the nuts. Free meals and extra guitar controllers do not equal a life. Believe me, the current school systems are flawed and I can think of a few dozen reasons why homeschooling is a better option. Guitar Hero is not ***** one of them.
