It was all fine and good until I informed him that I'd been doing this girl, Abi, for four months already. Embarrassed, he awkwardly tried to "call my bluff:"

Me: "Right, she's not my girlfriend. It's way more convenient, actually, since I don't have to do anything for it."

I appreciated his efforts to help me understand about sex, but the story really freaked me out. It did not make sense that her parents put her in a psych hospital after that. She loved him and wanted to be with him. People make too big a deal about age difference.
