Specifically:
http://jimbenton.com/page23/files/jimbenton%20remi ... - thebeginning, on 11/15/2009, -2/+60I want to go back to frame 2 :(
- Liam000, on 11/15/2009, -1/+28my worst nightmare
- Amadeus2490, on 11/16/2009, -2/+25People are usually so nice to you when you're a child, but when you're growing up, there are two times when everyone you know suddenly becomes a huge ***** for no reason other than because they enjoy it: When they're first becoming a teenager, and when they're first becoming an adult. You'll generally lose a few friends, and make some new ones at those points.
I think 25 is probably the best age to be; You're still young, but you've gained a lot of experience, can begin enjoying a serious relationship and your car insurance rates go WAY down. You can also rent a car if you need to. - motherdugger, on 11/16/2009, -1/+23kinda depressing
- rubixcubez, on 11/16/2009, -0/+21I'd pick frame 3. Marginally more chance of getting laid.
- TedsGame, on 11/16/2009, -1/+12I wouldn't really mind that, but his site doesn't look like it could take the traffic spike. The reason I'm submitting his work to digg is because I genuinely like it.
( see http://digg.com/comics_animation/Got_Change_PIC )
Now if digg would let people talk to one another, I wouldn't mind contacting him about bringing some improvements on his site's diggability side - absolutelytrue, on 11/16/2009, -0/+8Teds, how is baba formed?
- Jsite, on 11/16/2009, -0/+7Digg doesn't allow that?
I'd love any feedback you'd be willing to share. Just use the email addy from my site: jimbenton.com.
And thanks again for posting—you rock at the building the traffic. - joshuawest, on 11/16/2009, -0/+7Where's Baba??
- ic3burg, on 11/16/2009, -0/+6*sings* Baba come back
- firesights, on 11/16/2009, -1/+7At the price of being awkward, dealing with peer pressure, having no self-confidence, and any number of a host of emotional problems/disorders?
No thanks.
Yeah, that's a huge generality, but still. - jimrooney, on 11/16/2009, -0/+5You're doing it wrong
- Jsite, on 11/16/2009, -0/+5Thanks for posting this, Tedsgame. Here's another one of my cartoons:
http://digg.com/d31A69w - gvoakes, on 11/16/2009, -0/+5Ooooh Baba got BACK!
- rahsut, on 11/16/2009, -1/+6it's sad because it's true...
- Terwa, on 11/16/2009, -3/+8Well that sucked.
- staffa, on 11/16/2009, -1/+5The original is probably a crude stone carving done 8000 years ago. Just because 2 people came up with it doesn't mean that one ripped it off another. Believe it or not, it is possible to come up with the same idea without any knowledge of the original. People do it all the time, in fact nearly every 'original' thought you had, someone had before.
Even this little expose is just a rehashing of the tired reframe that there is nothing new under the sun. - Pepin, on 11/16/2009, -0/+4I'm going with Frame 1. Babies rock.
- darkzealot89, on 11/16/2009, -0/+3I'm going to go with Frame 3 For The Win Bob
- TedsGame, on 11/16/2009, -0/+3Oh you trolls are so sweet. I think you all just want to travel is such company as Teds who doesn't afraid of the Iraq problem
- yeeaauuh, on 11/16/2009, -0/+3Maybe Baba get back with girl. Too busy make love?
- TedsGame, on 11/16/2009, -0/+3You're an ignorant. It's "Too busy do love"
- LetsGoToClass, on 11/15/2009, -0/+2this is like the comic strip version of every biopic movie
- ronerx, on 11/17/2009, -0/+1Dood saved a LOT on glasses!
- CreateTheFuture, on 11/17/2009, -0/+1I dugg Amadeus for giving me something to look forward to.
- Jsite, on 11/19/2009, -0/+1here's another one of my cartoons: http://digg.com/d31ARNM
- guyhebert, on 11/16/2009, -0/+1Dealing with the Idiots in Your Life! I bought that book when I was in middle school and found it sort of funny. Many years later I found it packed away in storage and found it ***** hilarious. Time to go dig it out again.
- Amadeus2490, on 11/16/2009, -0/+1They match the size of his prostate.
- tinago, on 11/18/2009, -0/+1your cartoons suck, stick with flipping burgers
- Jsite, on 11/16/2009, -0/+1Hmm.....Check that. I created this cartoon and it was published in a collection of my cartoons by Simon and Schuster called DEALING WITH THE IDIOTS IN YOUR LIFE back in 1993. It's quite possible that the shirt you saw is one that I did, based on my cartoon, or a rip-off of mine. I've pursued a number of bootleggers over the years.
That said, STAFFA could be right——people occasionally create similar things without ever seeing each other's work, but in this case, I DID NOT - costumemaker, on 11/16/2009, -0/+1This is a rip off of a t-shirt comic that existed about 10 years ago. It was a 4 panel comic of a baby crawling, then an adolescent kid with pimples, then a depressed business man in a raggedy suit, then an old man with a cane with the thought bubble "well that sucked".
It's still a funny concept, and I wish I could find a link to the original. - antdude, on 11/16/2009, -0/+1I am at #5. :(
- Rammat2, on 11/16/2009, -0/+1And due to the interaction of DHT on hair folicles, we now know that the hair on your head is numbered to MAKE it suck...IF your hair is programmed to fall-out when DHT is present.
- Raumschiff, on 11/16/2009, -1/+2Well that comment sucked.
- Foenetik, on 11/16/2009, -2/+2they skipped the part where he got arrested for trafficking meth across state lines and was brutally gang raped by lonely men for 17 years.
- vaderson, on 11/16/2009, -0/+0This made me laugh out loud. I have seen something similar elsewhere, though.
- knghtwhosaysni, on 11/16/2009, -1/+1Is the "that" referring to the comic itself?
- dillonflynn, on 11/16/2009, -2/+2Better punch-line woulda been "Well, at least my balls are huge now."
- karmazon, on 11/16/2009, -1/+1Memento Mori bitches
- suroorus, on 11/18/2009, -0/+0lol so true
- Jsite, on 11/16/2009, -1/+1By the way, since the question came up, I did this cartoon in a book with Simon and Schuster published in 1993...what's that, like 16 years ago?
- freshyill, on 11/16/2009, -2/+1Thanks to the internet, everyone can be Gary Larson!
- bmiami69, on 11/16/2009, -3/+2cartoon sucks
- ZincSaucier, on 11/16/2009, -5/+3the boring life of a crappy web comic writer
- ryanpez86, on 11/16/2009, -7/+3I'm almost as disappointed in this cartoon as the guy is in the last frame.
- TogTogTogTog, on 11/16/2009, -10/+5Well that comic sucked.
- BackFromTheBan, on 11/16/2009, -8/+0howbout who gives a *****?
