ReBoot - The Final Episode watch!
dailymotion.com — This cartoon used to come on Saturday mornings, and it was way ahead of it's time. Anyways, this is the final episode that aired that left viewers thirsting for answers...

i would think that this falls right in the average age of a digg user actually...i'm 23 and i remember watching reboot... - scosol, on 10/12/2007, -30/+4Hahaha this is quite possibly the stupidest show I've ever seen.
All those characters look like they need to be bitch-slapped. - Haohmaru, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10Wow, looks like the creators were big Stargate fans. Check out the "Gateway Code". It even has the shimmering puddle.
- dagr8tim, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7@caulfield
I agree. At first I didn't know what the show was until I watched the clip. Then I remembered the show was on at one point.
Kids in this day an age have it made with Cartoon Network, and all the flavors of Disney & Nick. I mean they have cartoons 24/7. No need to get up at 6am on saturdays to watch cartoon's. - dclowd9901, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9"@caulfield

I was thinking the same exact thing. I also propose that Bill Nye the Science Guy come back and make a science-themed show for 20-something adults. - kozie, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I'm from South-Africa and this was the BEST show we had here ever. 23 aswell.

sounds like he said pussy, I thought this was a kids show - Software2, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12Here's the thing folks... They ended the show after season one... and borught it back a year later for another season... followed by two years of nothing, followed by one more season... followed by many many years of nothing. Then Cartoon Network released the mini-movies as season 4. It's been less time between season 4 and now than it was between season 3 and season 4.
BUY THE DVDS! Mainframe entertainment still exists, and if they could make money, there's no doubt in my mind they'd bring this baby back. - kamikazecow, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3@ RandomGuySteve I thought they rebooted after the whole system crashed or whatever too (i remeber seeing that episode when i was in the 2nd grade or something, lol, this is so old, but awesome) And then you see the guy who owns the computer see a blue screen, and just reset the comp, and everything is fixed... was this really the last episde. i hope not... :(

info@mainframe.ca - DCJoeDog, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1It's too bad that Tony Jay (Voice of Megabyte) died, now if they finish it it just won't be the same.
RIP Megabyte
- COlson87, on 10/12/2007, -0/+34I thought they stopped the Saturday morning shows and killed off the show for a few years? Didn't all these new episodes come about when Toonami starting airing them again?
Which reminds me of Toonami in the golden days with that little robot guy. I mean, we had Gundam Wing, Dragon Ball Z, Reboot. We had some good cartoons back then. Sucks for the kids today, huh?- Dested, on 10/12/2007, -0/+18Im tellin ya dude. Seriously. I used to love watchin those dragon ball z movies on cartoon network back in the day.... What like 8 years ago or something?
Its also funny how we all seem to be the same age... - lava, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10Well, kids today have Naruto and will soon have Bleach..
- kivimaki, on 10/12/2007, -1/+13Yeah, they have crap Naruto with horrible english dubbing.
- Recluse, on 10/12/2007, -11/+5DBZ FTW!
- minorthreat, on 10/12/2007, -0/+32I dont recognize any of the "good" show's you mentioned. Does that mean I am getting old?
Whatever happend to the Smurfs, Beakman's World, Duck Tales.. etc.... - techwrekfix, on 10/12/2007, -3/+12Cartoons today suck. I miss DragonBall Z, Gundam Wing and Samurai Jack. The crap they have now is unwatchable. And they wonder why people pirate TV shows.
- vp0ng, on 10/12/2007, -1/+15SMURFS FTW!!!
Seriousely, Reboot, Gundam, all those fandangled new shows with high production values have no place in my heart. Here's a a few cartoons I loved back in the day that some 30+ year old Diggers may remember with fondness.
He-Man (complete with horrible animations and his classic reused over and over single acrobatic move... the somersault)
The Snorks (No one mentions it anymore, it was the Smufs underwater)
Kid Video (Really, Master Blaster was a great bad guy and zapping real life kids who cant sing into the cartoon world was great!)
Ghost Busters (Classic fun and even a little scary)
Transformers (Can't beat the original, even with crazy computeriffied graphics filled with cheezy gorillas, rats, and cheetas)
G.I.Joe!!! (Snake Eyes and Destro, coolest ever...)
That's all I'm gonna list for now, but as you can see, they're very different from what people just 5 years younger were watching. I would say the same thing that you whipper snappers say, too bad the other generations don't have as great of cartoons as we had. :D - markperia, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9I just turned 20 and I remember enjoying DBZ but now i realized its the lamest anime ever made. Ohh strongest enemy evar! Aww he died but wait there's someone else stronger! Aww he died too but wait an even stronger enemy! Wait, I thought the last one was the strongest?
@minorthreat
Holy crap dude Beakman FTW! Greatest science show on earth.
I thought Josie and Phoebe were hot! I was like, what, 10 yrs old? haha.
Good times. - Sundyr, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Bah, you call those cartoons???
Speed Racer, Voltron, G-Force, and Space Ghost FTW! - titlesaysitall, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4SUPER SAIYAN!!
- Dested, on 10/12/2007, -0/+18Im tellin ya dude. Seriously. I used to love watchin those dragon ball z movies on cartoon network back in the day.... What like 8 years ago or something?
- Dested, on 10/12/2007, -2/+17Haha its hilarious watching this now being a professional programmer. The concepts talked about in it are so beyond absurd. This show was great.
Did they say pussy and there was an awkward silence?- syberghost, on 10/12/2007, -0/+19Yes. "Is that really your pussy, Mrs. Slocum?" It's worse that you thought. :)
- Oxygen, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9I was doing a double take on that one too.
...And I didn't see a cat anywhere...... - 4bit, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Refrence to a Brit com "Are You Being Served". Another good show.
- dreamworks, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4um...yeah...that was strange "is that really your pussy..."
- YourTechSupport, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Ms. Slocum from AYBS was always talking about her pussy.
- xtmno3, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3This kinda makes me want to go back and watch them all again. Thanks, I never got to see the last episode.
- OMGWTFROFLMAO, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7The last season when Enzo grew up and turned into a quasi bounty hunter was the best. It seemed as if the show "grew up" a little more.
- Tyr7BE, on 10/12/2007, -3/+8This show was great in the beginning, and then it got WEIRD. Enzo turned from cute little boy into bloodthirsty warrior, his girlfriend turned into some kind of mermaid babe, and the show started consisting entirely of random settings without much plot.
- adml_shake, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9I think it was opposite for the rest of us. It started out cool, but got better and better towards the end when Mainframe was over run, Bob was sent to the net, and Enzo - his girlfriend - and the dog were all lost to a game , and the part where enzo got his eye ripped out....didn't see that on many Sat morning cartoons.

- fadeout, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5This wasn't the end of the series.
"Daemon Rising" and "My two bobs" were movies made after the 3rd season in an attempt to wrap up the show.
I'm pretty sure they're available on DVD as Reboot season 4.- Mojay, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Regarding fadeout's post.
Actually, it was the end of the series. This was the last 30 mins of My Two Bobs. The movies were cut up into 8 eps (4 for Daemon Rising, 4 for My Two Bobs), and label Season 4. - Cyborg771, on 10/12/2007, -10/+3The actual last episode was where they rebooted the system after Megabyte seemed to be defeated, everything went back to normal. And then they did an opera based on that song from star trek to go over everything that had happened in the 3 seasons.
- Skab, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6i love that cook WHAT?!
- Ozymandias42, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6@cyborg --
I'm sorry, but "that song from Star Trek?!" Are you referring to Modern Major General? Because that's Gilbert & Sullivan.
- Mojay, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Regarding fadeout's post.
- Reno582, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11I hope adultswim brings this show back like they did with Pee Wee's Playhouse
- fadeout, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3Cartoon Network used to have it in regular rotation just a few years ago. I'm sure it'll make its way back in.
- Gir53457, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Doesn't CN still own the rights? They used to have it on Toonami when the original Tom was still on.
- DIGGER[NJLP], on 10/12/2007, -1/+3CN never owned the rights they were just the airing the episodes.
- ohgr, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2I missed the boat on this show when it was on air. I don't know, I had to have been 18 years old at the time, so it didn't impress me much.
- wozley, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2This show always struck me as weird. Very peppy in the beginning, then grungy in the middle towards the end. I spose I wasn't the only one who thought it was odd.
- warmonger48, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I didn't get a chance to watch this when it was on the air at first but caught it on cartoon network when my sister started watching DragonballZ. It was kinda lame at first, but it eventually evolved into quite a good show. With a female lead named Dot Matrix, it was quite witty and when Enzo had a birthday his age changed from 01 to 10. Shame it got canceled.
Besides that Mainframe entertainment did Transformers Beast Wars. - SpollakPrime, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Mainframe the company that produced this was incredible in the mid-late 90's. They pro deuced reboot which was awesome and the relaunch of Transformers with Beast Wars and Beast Machines. I grew up with the original show and I know there are a lot of TRUCKNOTMUNKY people out there but both of those Transformers series are easily the best written, best animated, and best produced series in TF history. They are also the last shows that kinda tied in to the original G1 continuity. Ah I miss Mainframe wish I was back in Vancouver in 1998 listening in on the voice recording.
Every once in a while a rumor circulates that they might be doing a Reboot movie. Anyone hear anything about this lately?- mexter, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7It's highly unlikely that it will ever be continued. Tony Jay, the voice of Megabyte, died in August. :(
- Richggs, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I believe i heard all of the main team who used to make reboot left mainframe, unlikely that they'll continue. it would be nice to have a conclusion to the series though.
- hackwrench, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Yeah, because when Jim Henson died, all the muppets he did voices for never came back...wait, they did.
- Cyborg771, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Oh god, when this episode ended I couldn't wait for the next one but it just never came. Why hast thou forsaken me Reboot.
- tiny1001, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2whats scary is that the company that made reboot also makes those stupid barbie 3d movies and those weird hotwheels cartoons
- mbthompson, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5The major networks really killed the Saturday morning cartoon thing. This one was originally on CBS right? I'm not sure why they made such a drastic change to Saturday morning programming. Now it seems as if it's all educational shows or just ignored altogether. NBC used to have a major lineup with Captain N the Game Master, Karate Kid, couple others as well. All used to end with Saved by the Bell. Ah the memories I have of sitting there trying to watch television while eating sugary cereals and having my dad gripe "Why don't you go do something productive!!!"
- cquinnd, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3It was originally released in the US on ABC, IIRC.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ReBoot - Klowner, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4ah yes, the days when I used to wake up early to watch cartoons, how I miss thee..
- cquinnd, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3It was originally released in the US on ABC, IIRC.
- lsmiranda, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2one of my all time favorite shows as a kid (now im 24). used to wake up saturday mornings just for this stuff... and 6:30am for this show gamepro i believe, man that was cool stuff.
reboot was ahead of its time... mega-byte!!! - xtremesniper, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Thanks for the link, I had never seen this episode. I kinda gave up on it once the whole concept of the net came into play, since there were far too many characters introduced and it wasn't as fun anymore.
- impulsiveboy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Ok, so ... I'm ready for the hunt. Now what?
- krazytom, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3I just want to know how I can get my hands on an episode of "State of Grace," that show looked to be a hit.
- Hermitwise, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I was curious as to if that was the girl who played Maybe on "Arrested Development", kinda looked like her.
- macca84, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2w00t forgot all about reboot. used to watch it all the time tho the last ep i saw was where bob went into the net . i love the tv dude 9999 99!!!!!

- BowieX, on 10/12/2007, -6/+5"This cartoon used to come on Saturday mornings, and it was way ahead of it's time."
Okay. Now I'm starting to get pretty sick of "it's". That's like the fifth time I've seen the mistake on digg in the past day.
Does it feel satisfying for people to give the word "its" an apostrophe because it feels like it needs an added degree of ownership that seems missing?
Trust me. "Its" is completely about ownership. The word is there for ownership purposes. "It's" is two words joined together that has nothing to do with ownership...- Marthinus, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Relax dude, not all Diggers' first language is English. Mine isn't.
- BowieX, on 10/12/2007, -4/+4Well, in all honesty, I think non-English speakers are more likely to spell "its" correctly!
Either way, "way ahead of its time" and "anyways" are pretty indicative that the author of the digg submission predominantly speaks English (and his profile suggests the same). Isn't it time we all joined forces to crack down on "its"? - radda, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3No. You should just stop being so damn anal about spelling. It's (OH SHI-) the Internet man, get over it, nobody cares.
(before you ask, I'm perfectly aware that I actually used the contraction correctly) - koko775, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2@radda: =_= guess your abrasiveness isn't unique to the sos-dan forums.
Anyway...
Matrix Enzo + AndrAIa were IMO the most appealing characters in the show, at least to me. Dot's personality wasn't really all that well characterized (a President Roslyn type personality might have fit well), and Bob disappeared and was a little to angsty for me.
- darkixion, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I used to watch this religiously every week on ITV. Then, the episode in which Enzo was killed in that game and Andrea changed her and Frisket's logos to that weird one was the last I saw. I wrote to ITV a few months later asking as to when they would show the rest of the series as it was on a cliffhanger, and I had no idea what had happened to them. ITV said they didn't have plans to show any more episode and didn't elaborate. I had to resort to buying it on DVD many years later.
- jayesbee, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Man, the crush I had on Dot Matrix could not have been healthy. She always reminded me of Duff (MTV's Karen Duffy).
- contradictator, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5To this day, I still have random conversations wih people about how awesome it'd be if they made more episodes.
- buddylee415, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I was actually lucky enough to find all of the seasons on a torrent site (including the mini movie that was released in Canada).
Watching them brought back so many memories. It was also so funny how much computer humor was there that I never understood before. - theblindman2, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Early CG kinda scared me at that time, the figures in Reboot were plasticky and made odd facial expressions (i admit it worked with the story but still didn't make it easier to watch). Beast Wars looked a lot better and had a really interesting continuous storyline...
Dugg for a trip back to childhood nightmares... - ckohler, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Another nifty thing about Reboot was that all of the animation was done by hand. It was produced before the advent of motion-capture technology.
- Haohmaru, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1"He play you like a movie file."
- flamingmb, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2We need a DVD set of this show! I loved watching it back in the day.
- lordTalus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Yeah, Sat. Morning cartoons are dead. My favorites were Muppet Babies, Ghost Busters, Pee Wee's playhouse, Smurfs, TMNT, GI JOE, Duck Tales...Flintstones...Man childhood was magical. I remember watching Fraggle Rock on HBO, Pinwheel on Nickelodeon...KIDS THESE DAYS!!!
- everfalling, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5in AL's cafe, one of the bits says to mike TV: 'watch it mike, you'll be the first up against the wall when the revolution comes."
Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy reference! ha ha.- everfalling, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4also, are they carrying a stargate?
- knuckles, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2@ everfalling
Stargate existed in the old Buck Rogers series. It's not a new concept or original name. - mythicflux, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2"Stargate existed in the old Buck Rogers series. It's not a new concept or original name."
That's not what he is talking about. In one of the episodes Magabyte (the main badguy) steals an old ping command which is a PCB like thing that is hooked up to a Stargate (as in Stargate SG1) it was an injoke to Stargate the movie. As are various other bits, for example in one of the last episodes you see a binome dressed like Indiana Jones running from a giant 8 ball attempting to run him over. In that same episode a group of 5 binomes who look suspiciously like Sailor Moon show up to save the day.
Heck in the first episode of season 3 the main characters enter a video game that is a direct reference to Evil Dead with Dot dressed as Elvira and Enzo as (i believe) Michael Jackson from Thriller.
Here is a list: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ReBoot#Pop_culture_references
- Brian48216, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3My god. If I could quadruple digg this I would.
- LogicBomB, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Reboot was just one of those shows that grew on you. Looking at any single episode and I would 100% understand why someone could easily hate the show. Once you watch a few episodes, learn the characters, their behaviors, and watch them change and grow; the show becomes a cartoon gem.
- knuckles, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1If that's the last episode then there's a movie in the works.
- neutrascrub, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5"It's a Trap!"
- Canthros, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Those of you whining about how cartoons were better back in the old days, 'like DBZ' are a) too young to know what a good cartoon was, dagnabbit, and b) are making me feel very, very old.
Reboot was actually pretty good, though. - CoolSilver, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5I remember Toonami when Moltar was on before the reboot into the Tom era.
Toonami Midnight Run was awesome too. The start of Adult Swim Programing.- CoolSilver, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3This also reminds me back when Robotech was played on Toonami..... Old School.
- GrantTheGr8, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2It's really a shame they didn't make another season. It was such a great show.
- my8086, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I loved Mainframe's Beast Wars and later War Planets. But I wasn't a kid, I'd watch them while I was eating breakfast before work, just to see how well a 3D shop could crank out an episode a week. Didn't they use PowerAnimator and Softimage?
- mexter, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Unfortunately, to get a continuation to this show, they would have to rehire the series creators (or at least get some sort of contract out of them), and resurrect Tony Jay who voiced Megabyte. He died on August 13th of this year.
- flamingmb, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2they could just do the Chef thing and use sound bites for megabyte.
- gorilla, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2When I saw the title I just thought it was some computer help show, but when I saw the main character I remebered it! This would always be on as a kid after school days. I always thought how hard it must of been to create each episode back then. Thanks for posting this!
- lcars, on 10/12/2007, -4/+3And now for the full series on DVD:

Funny though, I remember there being more than 47 episodes. - uppedbyhiggins, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7Hurray for selling pirated materials on the internet!

- flamingmb, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2thank you so much!
- LogicBomB, on 10/12/2007, -4/+3DBZ and I'm going to go ahead and say 100% of all anime with english dubbing/sensorship is HORRIBLE compared to the origonals.
Go watch some origonal episodes, subtitled in english rather than dubbed, and tell me anything released in the USA/Canada is even half as good as the origonals.
If you want a suggestion on some good anime go watch some Rurouni Kenshin. Best anime I've ever seen. The american version makes everyone look like ***** idiots. I couldn't make it through a single episode.- flamingmb, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3and what the ***** does this have to do with Reboot?
- digitallysick, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I must be old skool, because i love Voltron, thundercats, Transformers, TMNT.
- HardwareLust, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2This was the last Saturday cartoon I watched regularly. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
- jackspade, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2For us now in our 20's, waking up on Saturday morning and watching cartoons till noon was total bliss. We grew up in the golden age of cartoons. It really is sad how Saturday mornings are now for lame infomercials and other crap. And the few cartoons that are on can't hold a candle to cartoons of the past. Although I have seen that the CW have brought back Beakmans World (re-runs) and they have a half decent batman series. Also Thundercats rule. I use to have a glow in the dark Thundercats pajama set. God how i wish i still had that.
- Mimmiroo, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1This isnt the last episode =
