- debuggercll, on 10/12/2007, -0/+32This is a childrens book.
This is a childrens book on drugs.
Any questions? - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+25Digg should be for cool stuff, like this vid. Digg is wasted on vids like, "umpteeth chick wipes out on a bike ramp after stripping".
- c0ckr0ach, on 10/12/2007, -5/+27This is "Rabbit" by Run Wrake (http://www.runwrake.com/). Support independent animation and pick up his DVD. There are some great extras.
- kylerk, on 10/12/2007, -3/+24Very interesting animation style and an interesting story.
- lostboy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+18no, the moral is:
stay away from young children with knives, lest they cut you in half - TekeeTakShak, on 10/12/2007, -12/+26Just because it's weird doesn't mean it's good. What the ***** was that?
- BoomShake007, on 10/12/2007, -1/+15as are you, good sir
Very interesting animation style. It's like a children's book where they teach you how to spell and identify objects...only it's moving and has a darker message. - belfastbiker, on 10/12/2007, -0/+14Wow. I feel like I took hard drugs.
Anally.
Loved it though. - themastersb, on 10/12/2007, -4/+14Good thing everything is named or I wouldn't know what the ***** I was looking at.
- Hermitwise, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10Perhaps something about...false idols maybe, plus the greed thing.
- rbra57, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8Very interesting. I'll take stab at what it meant to me.
Idolatry is a powerful human instinct. The two children represents the innocent mistake of claiming or believing the little idol (which was just a projection of their unbridled passions and inflated sense of self-worth) was worthy of adoration. What followed was a series of catostrophic mistakes.
Anything can become and idol if it comes to be regarded as the be-all and end-all of human life. Of course there is much more meaning here. - Spizzat2, on 10/12/2007, -2/+10What is this guy on and how do I get some?
- Sidedish, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9judging from this comments, this might not be literal enough for digg
- SuckMyDigg, on 10/12/2007, -2/+9Holy crap that was awesome!
- commonsence21, on 10/12/2007, -9/+16uhh...WTF?
- AdrianRice, on 10/12/2007, -3/+10Brilliant. Saw this at a short film festival last year.
- sykotic, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7i feel uncomfortable after this
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+9freaky but interesting
seemed to have a moral to tell
they sacrificed so much over their greed and in the end it killed them - elnerdo, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7What is it about modern vocabulary that makes 'amazing' such a popular word?
- KMye, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Also, for those who liked this, check out "The Binary Universe" by BT. All the animations on the DVD that comes with it were done by emerging animators, paid directly by the artist after the record company said no, and most are fantastic, ranging from more inscrutable than Rabbit to more..."scrutable?" And really amazing music - the exact opposite of the poppy ***** direction BT was headed in with his previous album. Pulled himself back from the abyss...
- filipeanut, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Completely made out of stickers. The director, Run Wrake, explains himself at ABC news:
http://abcnews.go.com/Video/playerIndex?id=2603146 - wolfmanp, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6kudos to "larodem's" comment. I think the artist was referring to "dick and jane" in particular. Those books portrayed a seemingly perfect lifestyle for the average middle class family which was steadily increasing in america in the 1950's. To gain this status in america one had to, in a sense, worship a false idol (i.e. capitalism) who would then, in return, convert the real world (or ones own world) into an unsustainable dream world (i.e. suburbia).
- LexisNexis, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6I can tell.

Anybody else see the similarity? - dn11, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Trippy. I like the style and technique, not so sure about the "story"... but I'll probably give it another watch, so that's saying something.
- baldycraig, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4because it's amazing.
- caesar0801, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4I've never been so quiet while watching a film/clip...
very original animation style... but the story is quite disturbing... - Wonderkind, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Strange as hell, but I couldn't stop watching.
- bigredgpk, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4the anal drugs or the video?

- fiver22, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I can feel a "Tool" song coming on.
- lostboy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2i took it literally unfortunately. you've no idea how many rabbits i cut open before i gave up..... no really.
- Whodugg, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Riveting! It was shocking to see the violence where you least expected it with the childbook story illustrations. Weird and original.
- CaptShmo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2messed up *****.
- arkanebeats, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2awesome
- Nethid, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Outstanding. The music fit that so well, I was in awe through the entire thing.
- malice8691, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I liked it. Very nicely done.

- monknoiz, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2saw this as part of the ottowa international animation festival...
brilliant. - 3zero3, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2This is brilliance.
- Doorfingers, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Completely sick, through and through...
The story kind of reminds me of David Firth's style - Kershek, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Man, that was bad.
- cowabuse, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2holly crap, was that satanic or what?
