Kim's version (when I was born, it was a really nice day) or the real version (his parents were guerilla fighters in WWII). If it were up to me, I would have said something like "When I was born, I had a sword in one hand and a machine gun in the other. The Heavens sent me to save you, the great and noble people of Korea, from the invading Imperialist Japanese".

North Koreans live in complete misery and yet they're so isolated from the rest of the world they believe anything they're told.

For example, if you live in North Korea, you are only allowed to have pictures of him in your house. There is this golf course where it says, in the school books, that the first time Kim played it, he got all holes in one. Similar to 1984, if anybody in your family OR a friend is suspected of speaking negatively about him, you will be sent to a concentration camp and worked to death, along with them of course. There is a gigantic electric fence as well as millions of hidden land mines between the North and South border, to stop people from fleeing obviously. If we were at war with North Korea, I would seriously consider joining the armed forces, because this is a madman worth fighting, similar to Hitler in many ways, if I may be so bold as to say that....
