- Chooxo, on 11/14/2009, -2/+395I'm sure the comic was more profound in their heads.
- valetudomexican, on 11/14/2009, -6/+298A couple of molecules did a nice job of changing history for Japan.
- iDiggYa, on 11/13/2009, -26/+153This is the best goose ever!
- sinf0rlife, on 11/14/2009, -2/+89***** YOU DAWRPHIN!
- Trollbane, on 11/14/2009, -6/+75Except that he actually was, merely he watching an apple fall rather than being hit by it.

Soooo...no - SpeedSteamBoat, on 11/14/2009, -3/+66haha, right, but has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?

- colto, on 11/14/2009, -0/+46Yeah, that whole gravity thing was *****.
- soulonfire928, on 11/14/2009, -2/+45ah a syntaxgs comment...nice start to my Saturday morning.
- Chooxo, on 11/14/2009, -3/+39Newton's mom refusing to take it in the rear one night in April 1642 changed history.
- borez, on 11/14/2009, -0/+31Did you just text that in?
- Jeepinator, on 11/14/2009, -0/+30Yeah, the PS2 would probably just now be coming out in the US now.
- Chrysalii, on 11/14/2009, -1/+27so did a giant enemy crab.
...couldn't resist. - mebbin, on 11/14/2009, -1/+26So the molecule is the real culprit..
- ftc08, on 11/14/2009, -0/+21Syntaxgs is the lovable special ed kid that gets a standing ovation at graduation.
- RichRoast, on 11/14/2009, -2/+22So? The problem with trite little declarations of this sort is that they have no consequence - if the apple hadn't dropped in the near vicinity of Isaac or whatever this does not debar his thinking a great deal about gravity, he or any number of other physicists would have come up with hypotheses and theories by some other means. By the comic's logic every single action or event in history is the result of a chain reaction initiated by a single molecule. SFW?
- Gravey9, on 11/14/2009, -3/+22not supposed to be.
- JoeCool1986, on 11/14/2009, -2/+19I think I like SteamBoat's comment even more.
- Netrilix, on 11/14/2009, -0/+17Results 1 - 10 of about 5,230 for "but has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?". (0.34 seconds)
syntaxgs, on the other hand, is all original. :-D - jumbalia, on 11/14/2009, -1/+17For more than just Japan.
A day before the first bomb was dropped, the USSR finally declared war on Japan. Some believe that preventing a Soviet invasion and occupation of Japan was one of the key factors in the Americans' decision to go through with the bombing. Can you imagine how different the cold war would have been if Japan had been split up like Germany? - JoeCool1986, on 11/14/2009, -0/+16Ah, I didn't realize I had stumbled upon an existing meme. Encyclopedia Dramatica to the rescue.
- TVarmy, on 11/14/2009, -0/+15No, read a history book. Newton is cited as saying that if it weren't for him getting bonked in the head, we would never have had the industrial revolution, and your parents would have never met. He also came up with calculus while wrestling a bear.
- junkstuff1, on 11/14/2009, -0/+14Read the alt text.
- illlookforit, on 11/14/2009, -0/+13Also, you should read the alt text.
- BrettSchu, on 11/14/2009, -0/+13Nope, gravity wouldn't exist if it didn't happen. We'd all be floating.
- TVarmy, on 11/14/2009, -0/+12Yep, destroyed the neurons in Newton's head that would have made time travel.
- k3rfuffl3, on 11/14/2009, -2/+13Where's your human free will now losers?
- Hellicus, on 11/14/2009, -1/+12No, it is not.

syntaxgs - is that you at the end of this video? - christoast, on 11/14/2009, -0/+9I think he was thinking about how apples fall from trees in general and the idea of a falling apple, since it happened all the time near that apple tree, he often relaxed there and undoubtedly saw many apples fall. I don't think it was a single, specific apple.
- GumdoMike, on 11/14/2009, -0/+9on who?
- nhdw, on 11/14/2009, -0/+8You typed that with your ass, didn't you? Pure talent.
- specialK16, on 11/14/2009, -0/+7I love this guy, but he is kinda over doing the misspelling thing. It used to be more subtle a few weeks ago.
- Mike9824, on 11/15/2009, -0/+7This is why you don't use TinyPic.
- picor96, on 11/14/2009, -1/+7those fiber chains look like intestines...
- bearcat8543, on 11/14/2009, -11/+17not funny
- TVarmy, on 11/14/2009, -1/+7Not exactly. Hiroshima and Nagasaki's bombings were initiated by two enterprising neutrons, which are much smaller than molecules.
- drgmdp, on 11/14/2009, -0/+6dugg for syntaxgs
- IrvineKinneas50, on 11/14/2009, -3/+9It's not deep, accurate, or redeeming in any way, either.
- Chooxo, on 11/14/2009, -0/+53. Visitors, ad views, merch sales.
- 1google1, on 11/14/2009, -1/+6Sir Isaac Newton sure was smart beneath the apple tree.
When one fell off and hit his head, he said "Wow, Gravity."
For Newton was a genius and not a common slouch,
A genius cries "Gravity!" Most others just say "Ouch!"
-Calvin Miller - borez, on 11/14/2009, -1/+6I wonder if history might have changed had the 'Stays Fresh for 4 Months' apple been involved?
- TVarmy, on 11/14/2009, -2/+7Gravity is caused by all the matter in the universe trying to hug all the rest of the matter in the universe. The sun just loves the Earth that much.
- mavedatthews85, on 11/14/2009, -0/+5Yes, it is safe for work.
- Nauru, on 11/15/2009, -0/+4What about this one?
http://dbhamill.files.wordpress.com/2009/08/shouti ... - valetudomexican, on 11/14/2009, -1/+5*whom
- time256, on 11/14/2009, -0/+4the last 4 make cence but onest lee the picks too the bEGin are not any way the relate too lasts =0
I think he's trying to say: "The last four pictures make sense but honestly the pictures at the beginning are not anyway related the the last pictures".
/prediction - cryonix, on 11/14/2009, -0/+4So that's how Weird Al got inspired to make music... awesome.
