oh wait.. - ani625, on 10/08/2008, -11/+266what you don't see are the ninjas in the comic.
- MidnightRIder77, on 10/08/2008, -17/+201I'll dig this because it's actually quite good for an XKCD, bu seriously

^^needs to stop. We don't need 3+ submissions for every ***** XKCD. Sure, it will probably get you on the front page which will make you feel as though you are more important or some ***** like that, but after a half minute, everyone quits caring about who submitted it. - belebih, on 10/08/2008, -6/+102THESE PRETZELS ARE MAKING ME THIRSTY!!!
- ConNERD, on 10/08/2008, -21/+97Obligatory bitching about this story being submitted two seconds after the REAL submission.
- Nowaiman, on 10/08/2008, -20/+93I AM A BANANA
- inactive, on 10/08/2008, -27/+98XKCD...
Xylophones
Keep
Cretans
Diggin
I know, it doesn't make sense, but neither does XKCD to people who engage in intercourse. - pamon, on 10/08/2008, -26/+88it's XKCD or Obama talk on Digg... what happened to tech stuff?
- bdfariello, on 10/08/2008, -2/+53Actually I never see anyone caring about who submits articles, except the occasional "MrBabySpam" comment.
- hmphargh, on 10/08/2008, -18/+59Maybe she should consider a career as a pirate.
- inactive, on 10/08/2008, -11/+44Your concern, sir, is completely sensical and logical, yet the Digg crowd will digg you down for being honest.
The Obamaspam needs to stop. - Checkerd, on 10/08/2008, -2/+31Ma spoon is too big.
- deftss, on 10/08/2008, -4/+32Sarcasm sir. Have you not noticed that Digg is nothing more than a site dedicated to anti McCain rhetoric?
- Zera, on 10/08/2008, -5/+32No. The last one is clearly hanging his head.
"Artistic Brilliance" ?!?!!??! WTF?! - StrangeFamous, on 10/08/2008, -2/+27Discovering that was kind of similar to how I felt when I realized that all those "Next time on Arrested Development" bits at the end of each episode were really just little short skits about what happened to everyone after the episode was over, and didn't have anything to do with what happens in the next episode.
I skipped every one until I realized it.
(Yes, I'm horribly late to the AD party. I'm watching the show on DVD and it is awesome. STEVE HOLT!) - purzzzell, on 10/08/2008, -7/+32I never knew that if you hover over XKCD with your mouse that there's an extra punchline where the "image title" would normally be...
And it makes this one a lot more funny :P - timf, on 10/08/2008, -6/+27That would have been an awesome mouseover text!
- oneoverzero, on 10/08/2008, -1/+22Obligatory comment of how that would be more awesome if the source code were better a la http://hasthelargehadroncolliderdestroyedtheworldy ...
- chubbybubba, on 10/08/2008, -20/+40The artistic brilliance is in the emotion conveyed by simple stick people,
as evidenced by:
1 The first frame stick boy is attentive
2 The last frame stick boy is sad.
3 Yet his face (and posture) remain the same. - FelixDeluxe, on 10/08/2008, -4/+23I don't think I've ever noticed who made ANY submission.
- cyrusuncc, on 10/08/2008, -9/+27Don't you mean McCain?
Get a brain MORAN! - MrChunks, on 10/08/2008, -3/+20Why would I need to use RSS when it's on Digg every day?
- StormTroopr, on 10/08/2008, -1/+17Maybe he meant people from Crete?
- markperia, on 10/08/2008, -2/+17http://img360.imageshack.us/img360/3258/betterdigg ...
Choose those categories as your default and suddenly digg becomes a little better. But I myself like to look at broader topics so mine's always at All-All. - chanop, on 10/08/2008, -1/+15You should go buy a go-kart
- cyrix, on 10/08/2008, -2/+14Might be because they've all been submitted within such a close time frame and the servers don't have the time to update quick enough.
- terracottapai, on 10/08/2008, -4/+16Hitting too close to home :(
- ceredron, on 10/08/2008, -2/+14it's been like this for years. Where have you been, or are you just saying "where's the tech stuff" to get dugg up?
- Takayama, on 10/08/2008, -4/+15Head over to slashdot, like the rest of us
- inactive, on 10/08/2008, -2/+13I LOVE LAMP!
- drunkenkite, on 10/08/2008, -1/+11Oh boy, being sarcastic about his sarcastic comment!
BRILLIANT! - thedragon4453, on 10/08/2008, -4/+14Who ever cares?
- Scira, on 10/08/2008, -1/+10In b4 paint flames.
- Linkitch, on 10/08/2008, -3/+11*facepalm* Use the correct expression at least. It's "couldn't" not "could"
- fluxion, on 10/08/2008, -1/+9it actually does prevent you from posting dupes. i think cyrix is right, they all posted within a minute of each other and digg didnt catch the dupes.
not really the submitters' fault if you ask me. - Demener, on 10/08/2008, -1/+9Nonononononononono!
Gotta pause for emphasis...
These pretzels.... are making me thirsty.
Hmmm not quite right.
THESE pretzels... are making ME thirsty.
Hmmmmmm...
These PRETZELS... are making me THIRSTY! - coyote1284, on 10/08/2008, -1/+9My anus is bleeding!
- ceruleanocte, on 10/08/2008, -4/+11I'm feeling fat and sassy
- scythe33, on 10/08/2008, -3/+10http://*****.com/
- Halokhan, on 10/08/2008, -7/+14Any negative McCain comment or story will automatically get dug up on digg, along with outdated meme's. Oh the intelligence on digg these days.
- sleeknerve, on 10/09/2008, -0/+7MAH ANUUSS IS BLEEEEEEEEEEEEDIIIING!!!!!!!!!!!
- fluxion, on 10/08/2008, -2/+8not relevant to non-***** xkcd's like this one
- hydehk, on 10/08/2008, -2/+8***** RIAA
just trying to prove a point - TubbyCat, on 10/08/2008, -2/+8Yeah, XKCD is once every two days.. That's NOTHING compared to the political bs stories.
- Demener, on 10/08/2008, -1/+7You had me up till the your mom comment.
- inactive, on 10/08/2008, -0/+6http://digg.com/all/technology
Found it! - daschupa, on 10/08/2008, -4/+10Stop seeing things in black and white.
oh wait... - stephantabor, on 10/08/2008, -1/+6If sites that frequent the front page make you rage, you might want to stop visiting digg.
- spamthecatcher, on 10/08/2008, -0/+5...are you on crack?
'cause I'm out, so I thought you might have some. Certainly your post indicates that you're either high or a complete twit. I was being optimistic. - pinchduck, on 10/08/2008, -3/+8Digg wanted to broaden it's market, which was apparently successful. All the tech stuff now gets diluted, and it seems that even in the tech section, there are very few hard core tech articles. I am happy for Kevin et al. that Digg is so successful, but do wish for the old tech-centric days.
