- inactive, on 07/01/2008, -0/+4In case any comic fans didn't already know, Michael Turner, the creator of Witchblade and Fathom, died Friday at the age of 37 of cancer. I was a big fan of his art. I loved Fathom #1, when it came out around '99 It was ahead of its time, especially with the use of computer-aided shading. RIP Mike, you will be missed, but your art will live on forever.
