Cartoon does not always equal Kamp, but chances are Faye is going to be a retarded bimbo, Spike is going to be less Malcom Reynolds and more brooding Jet Li, Ed will be some horrible cross between those brats from Spy Kids, and Ein will be played by a Chihuahua or whatever breed that played well with focus groups. Ow, I made myself vomit. - Blandyman, on 07/24/2008, -0/+5You can turn a TV show (especially an anime) into a movie (from the same team and art style and all) it's obviously not gonna suck, because it's just like a 3-episode story arch, in one hour and a half sitting.
However, turning a Japanese-influenced animation, into an American-influenced live-action film, with two entirely different teams and none of the original creators or original team working on it, it would be difficult. Unless this new team really has the vision of the old team, or were real fans, or even moderate fans and understand how to create an original story that can work in that universe... but it'll be hard. - NomortaL1, on 07/24/2008, -0/+5If they make it somewhat even similar to Firefly, it should be awesome.
