          I regularly use MrTwig to torrent the latest episodes that have just been aired in america as it will be about half a year before we get them here in britain. Christ, they are saying that part 2 of season 11 is the NEW SERIES!!! Over here.

          Trey and Matt have said before, i believe it's still on South Park Studios that they dont care HOW people see the show, just as long as people do, and are enjoying it.
          I'm pretty confident that if any of us got taken to court for enjoying south park so much, trey and matt would step in and that would be the end of it.

It's nice to see studios start to open up like this, but the reality is that it's not going to stay unless it's profitable. Infrastructure costs are as low as they've ever been, but it still costs them money for bandwidth and servers. And they have to make sure you aren't blocking their ads. Embedding them in the stream is a good way to do that, but it's going get annoying fast when they start ramping up the amount and length of ads.

      Honestly, I'd much rather see a subscription based streaming model with a library of shows and no ads. I'd be willing to pay for that. I'd like to see something new, better suited to the on demand nature of the internet, instead of the same old re-hashed model from network television.

      A step in the right direction no doubt... so long as it stays. And I have my doubts about that.

Hell, for everything I've looked at it's cheaper to buy the DVD. Want it on your iPod, AppleTV, PS3 (which your DRM-infested iTunes purchases won't play on)? Use Handbrake or MeGUI.

        The only real advantage I see is that you can buy things that aren't yet on DVD like It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia S3 or South Park S11.

No ads, no cost, no revenue, no profit, and finally no incentive to spend the huge resources to stream to you idiots that have attention deficit dissorder and nothing to give back to the makers who bring this to you. If you are really such a huge donar, just get on Amazon and by the friggin DVD set and you will have what you want. Otherwise, "suck my balls".

    I hadn't watched the show until I say a re-run this year and now I'm hooked.

    Although I found some episodes to be lacking, there are quite a few gems which are absolutely hilarious.

The site is done by CTV and The Comedy Network, two major Canadian television stations. The site also features new episodes of The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and The Colbert Report, among others.
