- Krpano, on 10/12/2007, -29/+65Why dont you shut up you idiot and go kiss the MPAA ass.......you retard.
- wayhomer, on 10/12/2007, -2/+33@daretogo ... thanks for posting this to Digg ... it's as good as gone now
- SAOSiN, on 10/12/2007, -1/+27youtube would take them down immediatly.
- lcarsdeveloper, on 10/12/2007, -1/+18People did buy the DVDs. I did too, all 4 seasons.
And they are bringing Futurama back for a 5th season.
This is a good way for people who missed episodes to catch up on them, or to get people hooked on it because the show isn't on TV anymore in many places. - EGOvoruhk, on 10/12/2007, -5/+21If someone hasn't supported the show yet, chances are they wont be doing it anytime soon, and if they do, what better better way to get the show in their memory than this site? The new episodes are ways off, and they don't have any more advertising for the DVDs
I've got all 4 Volumes on DVD, but I didn't happen to bring them into work, so this site is going to make for quite a good night - zubi, on 10/12/2007, -7/+23quit posting these on digg.. let them travel through the grape vine.
- shrewduser, on 10/12/2007, -4/+19there are only 4 seasons of futurama.
fox aired them first in 5 groups... (for some reason.) - Moeface, on 10/12/2007, -0/+15Grunka Lunkas*?
- SPThom, on 10/12/2007, -2/+14I'm not one to be chummy with the MPAA or the TV industry or any of that, but any self-respecting Futurama fan really should pass on this, and go out and buy the DVD box sets. The show was cancelled before it's time, and maybe, just maybe, forking over the cash to the lamebrain morons at Fox could convince them to resurrect the show.
That said, if you already own the DVDs and are just jonesing for a clip or a particular episode, this site could prove useful. - dkm201, on 10/12/2007, -6/+17Obviously no one here has ever had to make a living off of creating television.
- Schug, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11Dailymotion.com is like YouTube's evil twin.
- TheoBrixton, on 10/12/2007, -7/+18*calls the waaaahhhbulance*
- EGOvoruhk, on 10/12/2007, -4/+14It has nothing to do with people making a living, it has to do with people claiming something as a loss just because it was pirated
I will admit that I pirated Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift. It was easily available on Youtube. Never in a million years would I have paid for that movie. While Futurama is easily better than Fast and the Furious, it was (and still is) available on television for next to nothing. I guarantee that everyone watching the show on this site wasn't sitting around waiting for the videos to come online. If they wanted to see the episodes on demand, they would have already bought the DVDs - WiBu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10I wouldn't mind it if they had advertisements either, I'd still watch. The media world really need to embrace the internet fully, they've done baby steps so far but they need to do a giant leap.
- spyrochaete, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10How is watching this show online (low quality, streaming) with no commercials any different from when I watch it at home, mute the commercials, and walk out of the room? Which I do every time because I find commercials insulting.
- UrlorJkron, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9Show them a way to profit from it and I'm sure they wouldn't mind providing it that way.
- Hootyea, on 10/12/2007, -2/+11I own all the seasons. Ripped at a decent quality, they're around 12 gig. Man, this has to be hard on the bandwidth.
- reddevil3, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9Good news everyone!
- JackHallows, on 10/12/2007, -2/+9Just like all[insert show name abbreviation].com.... Great when you put all the episodes in one place, but not so great after it dies when it hits front page on Digg..... :|
- t0ny, on 10/12/2007, -3/+10Please go buy the DVDs. Why? Like Family guy if people show interest and buy the DVDs then they might bring futurama back.
- shinynew, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7damn i thought i was cool for haveing them all off a torrent.
but now that i see how lame legendarysock looks like bragging about it i feel like an idiot - ThankTheCheese, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8good gravy, don't do that to me. for a second there I thought "FIVE seasons?! They released a new season? WTF!".
To quote Tinny Tim:
"You raised my hopes and dashed them quite expertly sir" - lcarsdeveloper, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8They ARE resurrecting the show.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Futurama#Future_and_DVD_movies
"On June 22, 2006, Comedy Central announced that 13 new episodes were to be produced, to air with the reruns in 2008. Comedy Central also confirmed that Billy West, Katey Sagal, and John DiMaggio would return for the new episodes, with a 2008 debut planned." - kevnaca, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6FOX TOOK THEM DOWN.
- spyrochaete, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7I paid for cable tv and I was subjected to commercials when I watched the episodes live. I've paid plenty to watch these streaming videos.
- EGOvoruhk, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6I viewed it because I was bored. It could have easily been anything else
Value is what something is worth to me, not what someone else designates. To me, that movie is worth nothing. That may not be legal, or morally right, or whatever, but that's not my point. My point was, that there was no way that I would ever pay for that movie. Studios would consider what I did a loss, and they are incorrect in doing so
Now if I pirated something I would have otherwise bought, well then, that's a whole different story... - bobbourland, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7ya know it's stuff like this that slows down my pr0n downloads...
- Etheo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Haven't you heard? They're reviving the series.
Even though I have all the episodes, I'll digg this because it's Futurama. Man I love this show! - dogoon, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Heres one with all South Park!
http://southparkvideos.blogspot.com/2006/08/south-park-videos-index.html - OmegaNine, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Sweet, great find!
- pagit, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4@ImTheDarkcyde: go kiss my shiny metal ass
- spyrochaete, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6No. Spread this link around and make it as popular as possible. The best thing that can happen is Fox (and the "TVAA"?) finds out about services like these and sees how many people prefer watching shows without commercials, free of charge, on the internet.
Show big media the way we want our content - free, no commercial breaks, and full screen! - TheWalkingDude, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3"We do not host any videos of The Simpsons/The Futurama or upload them anywhere we just link them to our page." Are you sure? http://www.dailymotion.com/qwerty77
Don't get me wrong, I love being able to watch them, but uploading them and then profiting through web ads seems reckless. - omaryak, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3That's like saying "If you like [insert music artist here], buy the f'ing CDs." Content creators need to make their content available digitally wtih minimal (or no) DRM to limit the incentive for consuming pirated content. I'd be much happier if I could buy Futurama episodes on iTunes than on DVD. But I'd be happier still if I could then burn the Futurama episodes to DVD from there. Content creators are clueless when it comes to understanding how DRM can actually hurt their revenue stream.
- DoodleMaster, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4"And NO I'm not gonna make the page look any better."
preety please with sugar on top :) - SimonGray, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2" We do NOT host any videos of The Futurama or upload them anywhere we just link them to our page."
- woxidu, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3I bought the DVDs. Now I'll watch them on here if I'm at a friend's house and forgot to bring them...
- tb616973, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2The site is down
- shanzz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2go to www.bringbackfuturama.com and vote!
- bobbourland, on 10/12/2007, -6/+8Imagine being able to watch any show or movie on demand via the intertubes and you'll be in a world where money doesn't control everything.
- DoodleMaster, on 10/12/2007, -0/+205x15 - Bender Should not Be Allowed on Tv = "EVERYBODY LOVES HYPNO TOAD"
- szym, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3The site is down :(
- HerbSolo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Whell - i bought the Futurama DVD-Sets, and after all - the good sale-numbers for the DVD set are what made the upcoming next Futurama-Episodes possible. So you could say, people like me financed the next Futurama season.
Anyway i think it's morally ok to watch this if you wouldn't pay for it anyway. The real fans still are gonna buy DVD's whether they can watch stuff for free or not (hey i have an indiana-jones DVD-box-set lying around here, and i didn't watch a single time - i just wanted to own it.)
So - to come to a point: as long as there are people out there who're as stupid as me, we won't have to worry about the movie-industry. And i think there's plenty of them. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+5@ dkm201
Most of them don't even make a living yet let alone a television-related one.
Way to ***** over a great show and the people who made it kids. - bustaphatty, on 01/27/2009, -0/+1Watch all episodes of futurama for free! No broken links http://www.watchfuturama.com
- scoobydiesel, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2it had a good life..it loved, cryed..hated...but it all shall come to an end now...may it RIP
- Mesach, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2"Bascially, it all comes down to the fact that you don't want to pay for it."
Other than paying my cable bill... I never paid for it in the first place. how can i steal something that is FREE? - Protoss, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1"See you on some other channel!"
