- newerakb, on 10/28/2009, -2/+124It also taught me to be white...otherwise I'd have to be the poor guy.
- MeanE, on 10/28/2009, -2/+85Prince of Persia has taught me that women like men who can run, jump and solve puzzles.
- whitesaint, on 10/27/2009, -6/+85Yup, that's pretty much what women want. ***** vultures.
- BeyondVision, on 11/16/2009, -6/+80Great Graphic!
In conclusion, this is what Disney teaches men about attracting women:
1. Be Rich: Start a hedge fund
2. Charming: (refer to point 1)
3: Famous: Hangout with Paris Hilton
4: Good Looking: Get plastic surgery
This is the modern interpretation of what Disney teaches men about attracting women. - immatellyouwhat, on 10/28/2009, -3/+67Bonus question answer: Douche

watching these two comment threads pile up side by side is going to be great fun. - had3l, on 10/28/2009, -0/+48Basically: http://vodpod.com/watch/1265913-tom-brady-snl-sexu ...
- WalkerTXclocker, on 10/28/2009, -0/+44Sleeping Beauty - Phillip
Little Mermaid - Eric
Aladdin - Aladdin
Beauty and the Beast - Adam
Rest - Prince Charming
Damn daughter! - bugeye999, on 10/28/2009, -0/+36I'm guessing at least half of their names are "Prince Charming"
- newerakb, on 10/28/2009, -0/+32...but only because she had a hunch he'd look better once she loved him.
- th3walrus, on 10/28/2009, -0/+31One other thing that always gets on my *****... It's not Cinderella's castle. Women can not own land in medieval fantasy worlds. It's Prince Charming's castle. She just lives there with her husband.
- BinkyStuttocks, on 10/28/2009, -2/+29Disney didn't teach me anything, they entertained me.
- Takfam, on 10/28/2009, -0/+24Quasimodo was white and didn't get the girl. So I guess the lesson is "be good looking" too.
Although Belle fell for the beast while he was still an ugly mfer, so... yeah. - dshigure, on 10/28/2009, -0/+21Not Disney
- provoko, on 10/28/2009, -0/+19I love that one. So true. If you're attractive then anything wrong you do just comes out cute. If you're just a little ugly, then you come off as a monster.
- SpeedSteamBoat, on 10/28/2009, -1/+18The Disney message to men: By handsome, charming, and loaded (or at least appear to be) and women will put up with your rage issues, lies, deceitfulness, and aggressive demands for seclusion. Also, never forget that you're in charge. She's nothing without you, and she'll always come running back no matter how big of a dick you are to her.
Oh, and don't waste your time on her unless she is thin, beautiful, and fauns all over you. - fantasyflamz, on 10/28/2009, -0/+16That's kinda why I liked Mulan as a kid. The 'love interest' wasn't the emperor, his son, a prince, anything like that. We don't know if he was rich, he wasn't really charming (he didn't even know she was a girl), and his only claim to fame was that he just got promoted to trail the fail team for battle. Add to the fact that Mulan wasn't a typical helpless Disney princess and it gets my vote for my favorite Disney movie (and yes, I'm female :P).
- stilesja, on 10/28/2009, -1/+15Sure as ***** aren't prince Darrel.
(Darrels of digg, feel free to digg me down) - UhNathUhMuh, on 10/28/2009, -1/+15Names?
***** 1-6 - UhNathUhMuh, on 10/28/2009, -1/+13 Gosh it disturbs me to see you, Gaston
Looking so down in the dumps
Every guy here'd love to be you, Gaston
Even when taking your lumps
There's no man in town as admired as you
You're everyone's favorite guy
Everyone's awed and inspired by you
And it's not very hard to see why
No one's slick as Gaston
No one's quick as Gaston
No one's neck's as incredibly thick as Gaston
For there's no man in town half as manly
Perfect, a pure paragon
You can ask any Tom, Dick or Stanley
And they'll tell you whose team they prefer to be on - jetboyterp, on 10/28/2009, -1/+12What's Disney got against blonde dudes?
- SpeedSteamBoat, on 10/28/2009, -0/+11Didn't get the girl.
Case in point, really. - Takfam, on 10/28/2009, -0/+10Aaaand now it's in my head for the rest of the day, thanks. :P
- kayfouroh, on 10/28/2009, -3/+13We get it. Disney is very sterile and perfect. Can we post something that is actually interesting?
- fantasyflamz, on 10/28/2009, -0/+10That's kinda why I liked Mulan as a kid. The 'love interest' wasn't the emperor, his son, a prince, anything like that. - ishqboli, on 10/27/2009, -1/+10philip is the prince from sleeping beauty and eric is the prince from the little mermaid. i´m pretty sure the others are nameless, or "prince charming"
- mathcreative, on 10/28/2009, -0/+9that's pretty awesome
- Takfam, on 10/28/2009, -1/+9Money, power and fame. No matter what women say they want, the fact that they've been mooning over the "Prince Charming" ideal for centuries says all you need to know.
- haphazardharlot, on 10/28/2009, -1/+9You'd think that the people that made these movies, being mostly men, would try to make the princes, I don't know, intelligent or something.
Oh well, at least they're being honest. - oreobarbie, on 10/28/2009, -0/+8I hear you-- It's rough because she *did* know him before he went through all the BS of becoming prince ali, and she actually kinda liked him, but she brought realism to the situation... dude, I'm a freaking princess, and you're scum. Peace. THEN he gets new clothes, and pretends to be another dude, she doesn't recognize him, and can't get off of his nuts. Then he's exposed for his lie, she's pissed, and ends up marrying him anyway.
The story tells us that it's okay to lie if you're trying to get some booty. - schroeder, on 10/28/2009, -0/+7She was just into furries.
- zaferk, on 10/28/2009, -0/+7skeet skeet
- Sutley, on 10/28/2009, -0/+7Also, be royalty.
- JinxCrow, on 10/28/2009, -0/+7'Modern'....hmm most are a few decades old at least. But it's just a stereotypical character type, they aren't even the main characters so of course their development is next to zilch.
- silvyrrayn, on 10/28/2009, -0/+7Adam? Really?
I'm ashamed for not remembering that. But the only Barbie-doll prince I owned (to further my unrealistic expectations of men and romance - thanks, Mattel) was Eric. - directedition, on 10/28/2009, -0/+7And control time.
- DredPir8Robrts, on 10/29/2009, -0/+7Mario taught me that the princess is always in another castle :(
- Turious, on 10/28/2009, -0/+6This needs more Gaston, I think. Though, he didn't get the girl.
- RobotBuddha, on 10/28/2009, -0/+6It's a good warning. My girlfriend's sister has a kid, and it's been an interesting and horrifying look into what girls are raised with. All my toys as a kid had to do with games of pretend centered around merit. The people in GI Joe were in it because they qualified by honing their skills and being the best of the best. It was all about merit, and trying your hardest. Her toys are all about privilege. The characters she's being raised with are all in places of power because of birthright.
We might all know it, but I don't think it really hits home how all enveloping that is. No idea what to do about it. Just hope I have boys when my time to have kids comes so I don't have to worry about it. - Takfam, on 10/28/2009, -1/+7"she had a hunch"
*slow clap* If I could digg you up twice, I would. - Sutley, on 10/28/2009, -0/+6Facial hair is on the way out, I see.
- directedition, on 10/28/2009, -0/+6Indeed. It's kinda stupid. Quasimodo goes to great lengths to help that girl, only to have her cast him aside for the rich hunk.
- veriix, on 10/28/2009, -0/+5Quasimodo?
- Takfam, on 10/28/2009, -0/+5Aladdin had to make green before the princess would even consider him. The whole "Just be yourself" message was lost in that he was always himself, but she only looked at him as a suitor after the genie made him obscenely rich.
- nullmind, on 10/28/2009, -0/+5Wow. Only the Internet could bring me 2 graphics about obscure children characters within the same week. I hope this vacuum we live in never implodes.
- guanyin, on 10/28/2009, -1/+6 Women are such sexist.
- the5wagners, on 10/28/2009, -0/+5What about Shrek? He married a princess.
- kupocake, on 10/28/2009, -0/+5Glen Keane, the creator of the Beast, to my knowledge never publicly shared his religious views to the public. Even if he was religious, he wasn't pushing what he believed around.
Besides, Beast as 'Prince Adam' was revealed in a CD-ROM tie-in game, so it IS official. - EdgarG8, on 10/28/2009, -0/+5First you get the treasure, then you get the power, then you get the tight virgin princess.
- mackavelli3, on 10/28/2009, -0/+4"Belle falls in love with Beast without the looks"
Beast had a big beast dick though. -
