My comment (or perhaps more precisely, my reply to a reply to a comment -- but what is a reply, if not a comment on a comment?) is a thing of such monumental proportion that even your mother would have difficulty swallowing it. Like the Great Wall of China or the guy who plays Hurley on Lost, my comment will, by its sheer enormity, astonish all those who look upon it; "Truly," they will say, "this was the biggest of the comments."

    Yes, there will be those skeptics who doubt that a comment of this length could exist. They will deny its might with their thumb-downs and their tl;dr's. They will say, "It must be an essay, or even a disquisition -- for surely this is more text than a mere comment could bear!" But my comment will not be intimidated, will not waver in the least. The sun is powerful, but does the ocean fear its heat? No. The ocean is too big to be afraid. And so is this comment.

    Three paragraphs? Impossible! Only a madman would attempt three! Well, I cannot fault you for thinking me mad, and yet here we are. I ask you to trust me, friends, for though I am but a mortal man, my comment has become something more. So look upon it, and marvel at the vastness of its text. Text as far as the eye can see! Is there anyone more pompous than I? I, who have even gone so far as to look up "pompous" in a thesaurus, only to show off my knowledge of its synonyms. Boastful! Grandiloquent! Supercilious! Take your choice, fellow Digger; this comment deserves all those words and more.
