- MrFurious2k, on 09/15/2008, -2/+16WTF is with the statues suddenly chasing him down? Does this happen often in Russia?
- d1a1s1, on 09/15/2008, -7/+16I dont get it. Hilarious, no way. The Ninja Cat is hilarious...this was...cute maybe.
- xdfgf, on 09/15/2008, -4/+13Hilarious? I guess if you find the phonebook or your lawn hilarious
- nickycakes, on 09/15/2008, -6/+14Yawn.
- loquax, on 09/15/2008, -2/+9I think that this is along the lines of the old Spy vs Spy cartoon in that both of them have their problems know mater what they do. However, Ivan clearly found his princess after hard work while Juan found momentary joy followed by a world of hurt when those statues catch up to him. Very well done, subtle commentary on western life. The Russians are incredible animators.
- inactive, on 09/15/2008, -0/+6Your right, Ivan got clobbered twice and then only got one chick that seemed like a bitch.
- truck87bp, on 09/14/2008, -4/+9Very well done, thank you.
- erkokite, on 09/15/2008, -0/+4This one is actually another good one:

I believe it was from a show called Polygon. - str3ama, on 09/14/2008, -2/+6IMO Juan still had it better he got to make it with 3 girls, sure he's going to get clobbered.
cute cartoon, love the retro style of the cartoon..reminds me of some of the cartoons I'd seen as a child. - screwit, on 09/15/2008, -0/+4If you not familiar with russian literature, you not gona get it. I don't know why anyone even bothered to post this in Digg.
If you do want to know what it's about, take a look here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Bold_Knight,_the_ ...
and here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Don_Juan - worseforwine, on 09/15/2008, -0/+4What a snoozefest, beautiful animation and music though.
- charlietuna, on 09/15/2008, -0/+3Should have show Juan scratching a rash after the third one. She rocked his world.
- 2ndrookie, on 09/15/2008, -0/+3I guess it takes Juan to know Juan.
uhuh. - worseforwine, on 09/15/2008, -0/+3Iran vs. Juan Mccain
- tomega, on 09/15/2008, -2/+4Juan is more spaniard than western europen generally. But I agree, nice animation.
- xpinchx, on 09/15/2008, -0/+2zing
- daschupa, on 09/15/2008, -0/+2Wait, wasn't there supposed to be a Red Bull in here somewhere?
- mcphatty, on 09/15/2008, -1/+3video was kind of lame, but at least juan was good at the guitar
- lazlonger, on 09/15/2008, -0/+1very worth the watch. nice pacing and interesting sort of "spy vs spy" style.
- vijethk, on 10/18/2008, -0/+1i guess it was done in some software..

http://inarticles.co.cc/ - LeonHRodriguez, on 09/15/2008, -0/+1That's enough with the Palin bashing!
jk, please continue the Palin bashing :D - inactive, on 09/15/2008, -0/+1Statues should have reacted before he had his way with their daughters, IMO
- 0260, on 09/16/2008, -0/+1One of my most favorites, amazing animation.
- aadsfasdf, on 09/16/2008, -0/+1And the whole thing of Ivan using force to get what he wants.
- loquax, on 09/16/2008, -0/+1I've seen a couple of animations by Russians of classic fairy tales from Russia in both claymation and in traditional 2D handrawn animation that blow most things I've seen done in the U.S. out of the water.
American animation, despite its commercial success, doesn't hold a candle to countries like France, Russia, or (especially with Miyazaki) Japan. - ChromaVita, on 09/16/2008, -0/+1I have read some commentary detailing the backwards society that was present in Russia during the Soviet years...
- RealHyperX, on 09/15/2008, -1/+1This video just undid what my coffee has done this am. THANKS! Need another cup!
- ChromaVita, on 09/16/2008, -1/+1Ivan-t to kill you after reading that joke.
uhuh. - boycottadhok, on 09/15/2008, -0/+0Don Juan is such a dog
- warsongs7, on 09/15/2008, -3/+2That's enough with the Iran bashing. At least they don't have a crazed evangelical vice-presidential candidate.
- charlietuna, on 09/15/2008, -2/+1Oh yeah this plays right into the Russian reputation for monogamy. Every go to a disco in Moscow? Whores and pimps all 'round. I do like the Ivan in the cartoon - though I have only met one Russian who reminds me of him.
- abteenbag, on 09/15/2008, -7/+4I thought this said Iran vs. Juan.
- inactive, on 09/15/2008, -6/+3Hilarious! Thanks!
- adlep, on 09/15/2008, -4/+1***** Lame....
Plain And Simple...
I get it - The Russian Guy is always on top...Except he won't live long enough to enjoy it...

What are u smoking dude?
When I was growing up in the "Eastern Block Times" the biggest punishment you could get was to be forced to watch a Russian Cartoon on a state controlled TV.
Lame, no point, and ugly stick figure characters, everything was gray and there were no backgrounds - just like in this "incredible masterpiece".
Also, the "nice music" featured in the "masterpiece" is actually Spanish... - inactive, on 09/15/2008, -5/+1Well done.
- jaspalboparai, on 09/15/2008, -7/+2something wrong.... youtube behaving strangely, the video doesnt play and just fast forwards itself.
Anyway, I guess I am not missing something great. some 3500 views only - orlyfactor, on 09/15/2008, -11/+1tl;dw
