- drizek, on 10/12/2007, -9/+28What was he supposed to say? That the sun revolved around the earth?
Reality is anti-christian. - monkeymad2, on 10/12/2007, -0/+18http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9JSR_6qfXTg
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+14I used to LOVE anamaniacs when I was a kid, and the educational yet ever goofy songs were the best.
Anyone remember the one where he goes over all 50 states? That was my favorite. - dinobot, on 10/12/2007, -0/+13I always loved this -- specially since you can tell its a tribute to Monty Phyton
- atluen, on 10/12/2007, -0/+13Animaniacs Wakko's America Song- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qm3_MO-JzUE

Now lets spin the wheel of Morality! - terrablebyte, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6It’s time for Animaniacs
And we’re zany to the max
So just sit back and relax
You’ll laugh ‘til you collapse
We’re Animaniacs!
Come join the Warner Brothers & the Warner Sister, Dot
Just for fun we run around the Warner movie lot.
They lock us in the tower whenever we get caught
But we break loose and then vamoose
And now you know the plot!
We’re Animaniacs! Dot is cute and Yakko yaks.
Wakko packs away the snacks
While Bill Clinton plays the sax.
We’re Animaniacs!
Meet Pinky and the Brain who want to rule the universe.
Goodfeathers flock together;
Slappy whacks ‘em with her purse.
Buttons chases Mindy, while Rita sings a verse.
The writers flipped; we have no script
Why bother to rehearse?
We’re Animaniacs!
We have pay-or-play contracts.
We’re zany to the max.
There’s baloney in our slacks.
We’re Animanie, totally insaney
Animaniacs! Those are the facts! - ekboost, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5man, i used to watch this everyday after school. Then pinky and the brain.
- CaptShmo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5i always loved the cartoons that didn't treat us like we were dumb... big digg for animaniacs wahoo!
- bwoodall, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dglc0MdJy8A

- jake8689, on 10/12/2007, -5/+9yeah those pesky facts being all Anti-Cristian
- bombadil78, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3they have a 'countries of the world' song thats pretty interesting...jebus bless the animaniacs!
- zforrester, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Whatever happened to the Animaniacs? They were the Bugs Bunny of my generation.
THe Simpsons were my Flintstones. - LGod, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2How is it a Monty Python tribute?
- NuclearBunny, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2There's a scene in Monty Python's "Meaning of Life" where Eric Idle steps out a door into space and starts to sing:
"Just remember that you're standing on planet that's evolving, and revolving at 900 miles an hour..."
later..
Our galaxy itself contains 100 billion stars
It's 100,000 light years side to side.
It bulges in the middle, 16,000 light years thick
But out by us its just 3,000 light years wide
We're 30,000 light years from galactic central point,
We go round every 200 million years
And our galaxy is only one of millions of billions
In this amazing and expanding Universe.
The Universe itself keeps on expanding and expanding
In all of the directions it can whizz
As fast as it can go, at the speed of light you know,
12 million miles a minute, and that's the fastest speed there is.
So remember when you're feeling very small and insecure
How amazingly unlikely is your birth
And pray that there's intelligent life somewhere up in space
Because there's bugger all down here on earth.
hour, - 4tygames, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Correction: Animaniacs Volume 1 Disc 1 DVD
I watched it last night ;-)
Definitely buy the "Animaniacs" and "Pinky and The Brain" collections, highly worth it! - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Damn, I forgot how cool that one was!
- Sazzle, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2How sad is it that I remember almost all the words to Yakko's Universe, all of Wako's 50 States, and about 50% of Yakko's World (quite proud of myself with that one! got almost all of it on the second time through, mind you.) Thats what I get for having the Animaniac's Sing album on tape and a mother who liked to listen to it in the car just as much as I did.
- myFriendDerrik, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Are you sure you clicked on the Videos tab? I got confused at first too. I think there should be a All category that is defaulted.
- NSMike, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1This is on the recently released Animaniacs season 2 DVDs, for those interested. They're worth a buy, if only for the episodes. I'm a little disappointed in the special features, that is to say I would've liked more, not that the special features aren't quality, but then again, not everyone can put together a Peter-Jackson-Esque collection of supplementary material.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3here ya go
http://digg.com/videos/animation/Animaniacs_Nations_Of_The_World - eplawless, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LSatz6rSh10 the music's similar, too
- LecherousVenom, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Agreed, dinobot.
Animaniacs ownz. - pooslinger, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Nations of the world is more impressive.
- drizek, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1WTF? This story isnt showing up on my profile
- tektalk, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1that was one of the best cartoons I ever watched, I forgot how clever those cartoons were
- NSMike, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Ah, then it aired twice. It's also on disc five of season 2.
- DelSolMan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mFzZHzj9yE4 :)
- Knoton, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I really like 'A Quake' but YouTube took it down, I'm pissed cause it was one of my faves
- cyberwiz01, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I always loved the "Good idea, bad idea" skits
- kingclau, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Really a smart and funny show that I think stands the test of time. Pinky and the Brain were always my favorite. But for the most part, the whole show was packed with all these crazy refrences to older movies and movie-stars from the 30's--completey lost to me at the time, but I always laughed nonetheless. Do you think cartoons do this type of comedy today, or are they all Americanized Anime Rip-offs? I don't know. I've been out of the Saturday Morning loop for a few years now.
- rhinopig, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3I semi-agree with this. Not exactly 'anti-christian' but more 'pro-existential'. They repeat over and over that we are nothing special and are insignificant in relation to the universe. Which i agree with, but you could certainly make the argument that we are special if not significant, without invoking god. Empirically (not statistically) speaking the 'fact' is we are the only planet with life we know about and the only species with consciousness (whatever that means).
Another interesting point of philosophy in it is that it says the universe is 'ours'. Not sure if they are talking about yakko, wakko, and dots, the animaniac's species, or humanity. - generalleoff, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Is it deliberate or just coincidence that the little ship he is in looks like the USS Defiant?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I remember watching that when I was little, and I was like whoa...that's more then what I learned in school in over a few years.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Sounds alot like pale blue dot.
- Gillagad, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Oh the good old days of my childhood, I remember all these clips. Wheel of Morality ftw!
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1Here is the one he goes over the Nations of the World
http://digg.com/videos/animation/Animaniacs_Nations_Of_The_World - pyrolyte, on 10/12/2007, -10/+3Should have put atheist in the title - you'd get more diggs.
- Dested, on 10/12/2007, -26/+3Seemed almost... anti-christian to me. Which imo is wonderful, but surprising in a cartoon meant for little children. lol
