- Evilblobs, on 08/19/2008, -4/+47I think i've read about 2 comics on Digg that we're actually funny.
this wasn't one of them. - TheSarf, on 08/19/2008, -1/+36Buried for stupidity and lack of humor.

0 funny? - aforce369, on 08/19/2008, -0/+14Mirror: http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa121/the_real_ ...
- lowtolerance, on 08/19/2008, -1/+13i was going to ask for a mirror, but seeing as how no one seems to think its funny, i guess i'll pass.
- wazzledoozle2, on 08/19/2008, -0/+9Aside from the period inaccuracies,
404 FUNNY NOT FOUND. - gavin422, on 08/19/2008, -0/+8Also, LMAO @ pixel ads.
- franklymister, on 08/19/2008, -1/+9Why does that guy have an 11-year old Macintosh in the 1995 panel? And an answering machine in 1970? The first commercially available one didn't even come out until '71, and I don't remember anyone having their own until the '80s. I don't think anyone I know ever had a fax machine - although we did have email when I went to college in '88.
The 1990 panel shows a phone that wouldn't come out for another 6 years, since the only phone you could really get in 1990 was a Zach Morris special.
You say this comic is about tech, eh? - Pandatot, on 08/19/2008, -2/+7I fling my poo at this comic.
- tonaros, on 08/19/2008, -0/+5And inaccuracy! The acronym "OMG" was not in use in the '80s!
- ninxmz, on 08/19/2008, -1/+6I wholeheartedly enjoyed burying this as lame.
- courtewing, on 08/19/2008, -0/+4Not that I expect literary or comedic masterpieces on digg, but how on earth did this reach the front page? I think I'd actually prefer another over edited break.com video of someone face planting.
- pHreaksYcle, on 08/19/2008, -2/+6Dad?
- ligyron, on 08/19/2008, -0/+3It's useful for those of us that use the RSS feed...
- Upon66, on 08/19/2008, -1/+4[MIRROR] ?
- Mike668, on 08/18/2008, -6/+9Damn you! Damn you all to hell!
- inactive, on 08/19/2008, -1/+4First, it says `circa`.
Secondly, Cell phones were in use in the mid 80s and if you had a rich friend that could afford the $80/month + 35 cents a minute with long distance at 70 cents, it was pretty fun to call your friends - Ouze, on 08/19/2008, -0/+3... i don't get it.
- MasterGrief, on 08/19/2008, -1/+4You don't really want a mirror of this.
- Antimatter85, on 08/19/2008, -0/+2"Oh my God, I was wrong
It was Earth all along
You finally made a monkey
[Yes we finally made a monkey]
You finnnnnnnally made a monkey out of meeeeeee............I love you, Dr. Zaius!" - ngageguy, on 08/19/2008, -0/+2People that digg down Mike668's joke must not get it.
- inactive, on 08/19/2008, -1/+3Every time Digg links a comic, God DoS's a server.
- falafelkiosken, on 08/19/2008, -0/+2c'mon, haven't you guys seen Spaceballs?
- rivalius13, on 08/19/2008, -1/+3People do that with pictures and videos all the time too. [Reply]
- gavin422, on 08/19/2008, -0/+2Maybe if they weren't so idiotic, they'd know better. [Flame]
- aforce369, on 08/19/2008, -0/+2Believe me, it was a difficult choice to post the mirror in the first place.
- agsinger, on 08/19/2008, -0/+2digg effect wins again...
- aznpwnzor, on 08/19/2008, -1/+3whole concept wasn't that good but the execution, mainly the shirts, was excellent
- gaqua, on 08/19/2008, -0/+2Apparently a "comic" no longer requires humor.
Huh.
I guess everything is going the way of Rex Morgan, M.D. or Gasoline Alley or those other crappy strips that nobody reads that get stuck in that one corner of the paper. - nicksauce, on 08/19/2008, -0/+2On a scale of 1 to funny, that was roughly a Garfield divided by 3.
- stealthc, on 08/19/2008, -0/+1With the increasing digitization of our communication, when our civilization finally falls, we will leave nothing behind but cars, roads and concrete buildings. All our cheaply printed books and plastic gizmos will have wasted away. People will think ancient man was telepathic or something.
- tidu, on 08/19/2008, -0/+1yep, that's about right.
- VinnieDaMac, on 08/19/2008, -0/+1They forgot the pager.
- worldchanger, on 08/20/2008, -0/+1I fart in your general direction.
- gavin422, on 08/19/2008, -3/+4It's a good thing you labeled it [COMIC]. I never would have suspected that. Especially since it was in the "Comics & Animation" section.
- patrobyn00, on 08/19/2008, -1/+2page load error, front page will do it everytime!
- KniteWulf, on 08/19/2008, -0/+1America.
- franklymister, on 08/19/2008, -0/+1So 1984 = "Circa 1995?"
- trevah, on 08/19/2008, -0/+1Seriously... I think a good amount of us here are mildly intelligent but the visceral enjoyment we get out of face planting is definitely greater than the gigantic pile of unfunny that is this strip.
- iSinned, on 08/19/2008, -0/+1buried.
- BestJaxx, on 08/19/2008, -0/+1I saw this three times on the goat saying ***** comments. Do you think Shoop da Whoop is invading Digg? Granted that we aren't firin' our lazers, but still, the face is there.
- franklymister, on 08/19/2008, -0/+1Right - you could either have a car phone, a briefcase phone, or a brick that weighed a couple pounds and had to be carried in a bag.
The 1990 panel shows a flip phone that fits comfortably in his hand. The first flip phone was the Star Tac, in 1996. - ngageguy, on 08/19/2008, -0/+1Planet of the Apes FTW.
- pradvan, on 08/19/2008, -0/+1dugg for the shirts
- str1fe, on 08/19/2008, -0/+1I'm not sure if I should digg you for providing a mirror or bury you for being willing to rehost that pos comic.
- MasterGrief, on 08/19/2008, -1/+2What has been front paged cannot be un front paged
- DrZocktahedron, on 08/19/2008, -0/+1Simpson's for everyone that doesn't get it.
Its a quote from Homer on Planet of the Apes. - FraudulentTom, on 08/19/2008, -0/+1Not so much with the funny.
- Snakeonastaff, on 08/19/2008, -0/+1Me?
- Diffy, on 08/19/2008, -0/+1You're right, it is a good thing it was in the comic section and labeled as such, otherwise I would have never guessed this piece of ***** was supposed to be funny.
