I miss SWAT KATS and Batman... - Jdban, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9wait... did they really make a series about He-man's twin sister, with nearly the exact same opening?
- themastersb, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8....and what have we learned from all this? One very important lesson: NEVER EVER LET LOU SCHEIMER PRODUCE A ***** CARTOON!!!!
- krecker, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Who gave the green light to Gilligan's Planet? That is the single worst cartoon idea in history.
- kbyers, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6You've gotta love the two totally different "Ghostbusters". What the hell was the first one all about??
- BorisT, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Dugg for Duck Tales
- DKasler, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5wtf... No Thundercats?
- Sccatter, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Is it sad that I watched this all the way through and I could sing along to almost every single intro?
- Harfish, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Duckula

- krecker, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Beware of the cosmic destruction that will befall us in 1994
- dn11, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3this is crazy - this is triggering bizarre flashbacks - I would have never remembered half of these. i think i watched almost all of them at some point. dungeons and dragons is one of the earliest cartoons i remember watching. thundercats needs to be here though!! and did i miss the smurfs??
- toleshei, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Dugg up for Mysterious cities of gold! (English title)
That show was great. Weird to think that it was made by the same studio that does Naruto and Bleach.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Studio_Pierrot - ldog, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I don't have a screencap, but how about the ending of that show?
The main characters were brother and sister, but the closing always showed them holding hands and forming a heart with their tails. - senseigmg, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Stay away from my #1 dime.
- filipeanut, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Damn they forgot Pound Puppies and Jem. Somebody make 30 minutes of my favorite female 80's cartoon characters. Don't forget Jem, Smurfette, and April O'neil. "Jem is my name, no one else is the same.. Jem is my name! JEM!"
- kbyers, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Or the Silverhawks!
- dooms13, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Dugg for TMNT and Legend of Zelda

- horatio80, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Where is the THUNDERCATS, Smurfs, Robotech, Fat Albert, Snorkels(SP?), Fraggel Rock, Gummi Bears?
- Locke005, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Did anyone else think the female cat from Heathcliff was hot?

- dn11, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2looks like a "vol 2" is in order
- dn11, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2http://tinyurl.com/23q2bw
I remember when I first saw the "fake ghostbusters" show. I was visiting family in another state - it didn't air where I lived.
I really hated it. - thedez, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3no, it's just you
- Monar87, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Your definitely not the only one. I felt that kids these days no longer want to or need to get up for cartoons on Saturday morning because they can get the shows they want any day anytime. I used to force myself to get up every Saturday just to watch some of these shows and today kids can lazily get up anytime and still watch what they want.
On a side note anyone else thought they should have had another piece of the triforce in Zelda. If Ganon only needed two wouldn't it been called biforce or something like that. Just a thought. - penchant, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1oh yeah, She-ra, I loved her. I wanted to be her when I was little!
- TubaTechno, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1You don't remember the Rescue Rangers but you remember the Clinton legacy?!
- mal1964, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1wake and bake
- DCJoeDogaswell, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1also missing
Silver Hawks, Rainbow Brite, Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors, M.A.S.K., Legionnaires, Visionaries, Smurfs, and to the creator's defense, Fraggle Rock was a Jim Henson Muppet show for HBO, and not many got to see the show(unless you stole HBO, which my family C'MON YOU ALL KNOW YOU DID IT TOO!!! LOL), also not animated. - Rememberence, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1There were a few I didn't know (I was born in 81) but I was right there with you.
- eggo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1http://www.mininova.org/tor/319272 21GB, all 100 Episodes. You are welcome.
- TheKingOfHell, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Digged ufia's comment because of the amazing series that were released in France. 'Remi' sans familie was just released in Mexico DVD Region 4, OMFG! It is so ***** sad!
- oakeybloke, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Not as bad as me, I made a big blog post of a bunch of those collections and listed all of the show intros by watching them one at a time =P
http://deadseablogs.wordpress.com/2007/04/19/massive-compilation-of-cartoon-intros/ - dn11, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1cool. i totally forgot about that Dragon Warrior cartoon at the end - in hind sight it looks like a precursor to Dragon Ball Z.
at least 2 good shows from he early 90's are missing:
Exosquad!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GJFhqc2cDAU
Conan the Adventurer
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2x_4nCj4TI0 - dn11, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1is it just me or has the Saturday morning cartoon thing died out? on the rare occasions that i've been channel surfing early on a Saturday morning recently, I never notice any cartoon shows. has cartoon network, nickelodeon etc killed off this tradition? it used to be a big deal - and the 80's was the golden age. that being said, I also remember watching a lot these shows in the afternoon after school.
- an0nymous, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The Misfits were hot.
- TubaTechno, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1How old are you!?
- bloodytemplar, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Yeah, I did, too. And the female mouse (Gadget?) on Chip n' Dale Rescue Rangers - She was the geek chick that started my fetish. :)
- moniker, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1That was great! Man did that take me back. Help me out here - I vaguely remember a cartoon that had what I think were mice or Chipmunks, and one of them was called Monterey Jack? What am I thinking of?
- mentor972, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1DUPAGE!!!
