- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+75That's stupid. Why would something on TV be fake???
- rhinopig, on 10/12/2007, -4/+61Hehehe I agree.
"is it the show who evil or man ? i
chose man beacause man himself knows better than to be cheateing in the first place ..... Lord should kept the chicks on this planet ..."
Yes... Lord should kept the chicks on this planet. Right on dude. - kefs, on 10/12/2007, -3/+30the comments are just as entertaining as the video..
- _Caboose_, on 10/12/2007, -2/+26You see that "Add or Remove Topics" link on the side there? Yeah. Uncheck the videos category if you don't like it.
- aurrea, on 10/12/2007, -0/+23How the hell do you make the "¢" sign?
Oh crap... I just did.... - super_spyder, on 10/12/2007, -5/+28I try to catch this show when ever i can, i describe it to people who haven't seen it as "like cops, but not quite as classy"
- DoctorNo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+22YouTube comments are always hilarious. Not sure why, but their comment section has more then their fair share of trolls and flamers. Not that most sites don't, but YouTube seems to be a flame magnet.
- Jozer99, on 10/12/2007, -2/+24We call that a state of shock. It happens when someone sticks a knife into your stomach. Look it up.
- KeyLimePie, on 10/12/2007, -5/+25I thought the whole show was fake
- 4815162342, on 10/12/2007, -3/+22i know it's wrong but... lol.
- millixaw, on 10/12/2007, -0/+19Would've been cooler if they had the primary source (the episode in question) rather than a VH1 commentary about it with those has-been celebrities giving their unwanted 2¢...
- mrASSMAN, on 10/12/2007, -0/+19Youtube seems to have more retarded people commenting than any other site.
Every once in a while they are funny, but more often they are just depressingly stupid. - adamnikyo, on 10/12/2007, -2/+21That was one of the least funniest things ever said.
- chicken101, on 10/12/2007, -5/+22The host took it like a man. He got stabbed and he kept his cool.
digg. - varmit, on 10/12/2007, -1/+17http://youtube.com/watch?v=NITG3uHwtWo
This one is from the actual show, not the VH1 thing.
Copy it into the address bar, digg is f'ing up my link. - Smeed, on 10/12/2007, -0/+15The producers of this show make money off other peoples misfortune. I wouldnt say he deserved the stabbing, but he was on his way to a good slap.
- positron, on 10/12/2007, -1/+16I know this isn't gonna be a popular comment but... the host had it coming. When you invade people's private lives without an invitation, tresspass on private property, and shove cameras in people's faces while aggressively confronting them with their personality flaws for profit, you've got to accept that at some time you are going to run into some armed nutjob who wants to hurt you.
- itsmekirby, on 10/12/2007, -2/+15@turpenine
How do you know this? - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12Because they invest in like 20 6 foot 5 300+ lb bodyguards instead. Have you seen the show? That guy rolls with a full compliment of NFL callibre offensive linemen. That is the reason he can (usually) get away with talking so much ***** to guys who would definately beat his ass in a one on one fight.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+13Sources please
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12Here's the video without the washed up VH1 celebrities.
http://youtube.com/watch?v=NITG3uHwtWo - Disease, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12How old is *****?
- Disguised, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10This video is over 4 years old first of all, but regardless it has always highly been thought of as being staged. Whether or not it was faked? Who knows, but:
A.) It's virutally impossible to find any record of this event taking place from any reputable news source.
B.) No charges were ever filed. The guy was never even arrested to my knowledge. He was handcuffed by the show's security staff however, but that brings up another point
C.) IF they had called in a stabbing like they appear to do - That dock would have been crawling with cops, and you never see one cop in the original taping of the show. - charmedguy18, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10Who's the one that fell in the water?
- shakin, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10Have you any idea what capitalism is?
- mgrucker, on 10/12/2007, -2/+10They know they are confronting some crazy ass people, why wouldn't they think something like this might happen and invest in a bullet/knife proof vest?
- ArcusOfSV, on 10/12/2007, -2/+10His job is butting his nose where it doesnt belong? He is a PI? Really? PI's need body guards?. Um no. Id like to see his license I was a PI. We were bound by law NOT to broadcast any part of our survallance and certainly not permitted to use our video for personal monetary gain beyond providing it to our client.
- ArcusOfSV, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9He doesnt have balls. He has the taste for network dollars. If he did have balls he wouldnt have two huge bodyguards. Pfft.
- kylesherman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7In an interview on sptimes.com the creator of the show 'Cheaters' is interviewed and says this about Joey being stabbed.
"Joey wears Kevlar now, so he's bulletproof, and we have tasers at every junction. What happened was, we were on a fishing boat, and the guy was fishing and had a fishing knife in his hand. I guess the motion of the crew on the boat caused it to become unstable. We can't really say whether he did it intentionally or not. He got arrested and charged, and then our lawyers worked it out so he wouldn't be prosecuted and we wouldn't be sued.
And Joey, fortunately, didn't have any significant injuries to any organs in his abdomen, but he does have a scar, of course."

- turpenine, on 10/12/2007, -3/+9I just took a *****, so it's pretty new then?
- msipes, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6This episode was a total setup. I have a friend who was an assistant producer on the show get fired, because the information got out that it was staged. So this video this whole video is not real...and totally staged.
- dickeytk, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6anyone know what happened to the guy that stabbed him?
- buckynekkid, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5I don't know if it was real or not, but how stupid do you have to be to knife a guy on camera? I guess that will add weight to temporary insanity plea.
- anonydigg, on 10/12/2007, -5/+10Once he told him "get off my boat", and he was still standing, then he was trespassing and could use reasonable force to get him out of there; which migh include stabbing him. A reasonable judge would let him go.
- turpenine, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5I think those guys where bought AFTER the stabbing.
- vvvv, on 10/12/2007, -3/+8I wonder if stabby guy is going to cheat on his prison boyfriend too.
- saralk, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5I didn't really care for the stabbing, but I find it halarious how they got another boat and caught him, and then boarded the boat like a bunch of pirates.
I was half hoping that the "mistress" would jump into the presenter's boat and speed off. - brianb722, on 10/12/2007, -6/+10I've heard over and over this was completely fake.
- turpenine, on 10/12/2007, -4/+8He gets stabbed and its not fake, its not live action, nothing is. He gets stabbed live infront of camera, no rehearsals etc.
- MrPhelps, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4I always thought that the show was fake ... now that I have seen this video, i'm absolutely certain it's fake ;)
- JackHallows, on 10/12/2007, -5/+9He should get stabbed for doing his job? Idiot.
- catoutfit, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4"He should get stabbed for doing his job? Idiot."
Depends...I'd stab someone who abducts children and sells them into the sex industry for a living. - rparle, on 10/12/2007, -3/+7Option-4
- guregu, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Afterwards, he went and took a dump and then ate some chips.
- bnitro, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Love the part where one of the guys fall off the boat man it truly is a golden age
- Pyrogen, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3creepyman: The cheater attacked the host. Any citizen can use "reasonable force" to protect themselves or another from "unlawful interference." Since the man stabbed the host, he was restrained "for his safety and the safety of others."
PIs are NO different than security officers or anyone else who is not a sworn law enforcement officer. If a PI can arrest you, a security officer can, so can a soccer mom. - andreo, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5@doghand:
"Anyone with any knowledge in law or criminology knows this. I wonder why so many people do not"
Um, maybe because they don't have any experience or training in law or criminology. - everfalling, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3funniest cheaters episode ever. ***** gets shanked.
- MacLiberal, on 10/12/2007, -10/+13Ah yes capitalism at it's best. This man got less than he deserved for interfering in the personal lives of people for profit.
