- stev3, on 10/12/2007, -1/+40Title was a little misleading, should have been "A-D-D" (all caps or something) instead. None the less, funny stuff right there.
- roundntubby, on 10/12/2007, -0/+28My bad, Yeah, I made a mistake, I wanted to check if it was a duplicate post so i hit next and expected to see the screen that says duplicate post. As you can tell that didn't happen.
- Erowid, on 10/12/2007, -1/+28Dugg up for checking if it's a dupe :)
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -5/+26"I'm hispanic, my parents weren't afraid to beat me."
Can't blame them,.. I get like that around hispanics too. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+19ahh, corporal punishment
let's bring it back! - theblooms, on 10/12/2007, -3/+18"That's what I want to know: why are parents afraid to beat their kids? When I was a kid and I screwed up, my parents beat my ass."
http://www.thebestpageintheuniverse.net/c.cgi?u=beat - haggie, on 10/12/2007, -1/+16I bet that about 80-90% of the cases of A-D-D could be cured with decent parenting, not meds.
- Greyhaven7, on 10/12/2007, -1/+14The people who make South Park have ALL the episodes availible for FREE on their website anyway, why would they care?
- Greyhaven7, on 10/12/2007, -1/+14Honestly half the reason people are as f'ed up as they are today is that parents are slacking.
- MikeKnoop, on 10/12/2007, -3/+13It should never have been taken away in the first place.
-Mike - SilentSpyder, on 10/12/2007, -2/+9I'm hispanic, my parents weren't afraid to beat me.
- GravyTrain6, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6I wish more people did that.
- CatFood, on 10/12/2007, -3/+8Brilliant!
Here's more on this: http://www.thebestpageintheuniverse.net/c.cgi?u=beat - beast, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Bad parenting or not there are many people that suffer from legitimate cases of ADD and ADHD. The problem today is that parents don't take the time to get their kids properly diagnosed. The just pump them full of medication and hope for the best.
- SgtBeavis, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4I am a computer nerd making twice as much as either of my parents.
I've never been in jail, I served 8 years in the Army, and I've generally tried to be a good person.
Yes, my Mom beat the ***** out of me. She broke a friggin' paddle on my ass. She used hotwheels tracks on me to the point that I never wanted them for Christmas ever again. Then she beat me with Transformers. One time I thought I would stand up to her and she said, "I can beat your ass or throw you out that window, your choice" I then calmly bent over and got the ***** beat out of me again.
Corporal punishment works.
Thanks Mom - roundntubby, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3First - all of South Park available online for free courtesy of the staff.
Second- the question you should be asking is why is youtube/google-video , metacafe, and even dailymotion allowed to get away with it but sites like digg feeling the pressure just because they are linking to them. - womfalcs7, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Haha. That's hilarious. I grew up on corporal punishment, and I'm just fine today.
- mc1123, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3man, that just made my day. I've been reading that guy's blog for the past 3 years, and it's downright hilarious. Too bad he doesn't update it too often tho.
- jrmcgrath13, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I think I've dugg this before... but I'm digging it again. Ah the good ol' days!
- lansuggs, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I blame all my problems on my parents not beating me
- gazelem67, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1and now it's a victim of copyright whining. it's gone.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1it's possible to raise good kids without beating them...and sometimes a backhand is what the situation calls for. i know somebody diagnosed with ADD...his mother is just a bad parent and selfish to not go out and spend time with her kid. he's older now and he's fine....thankfully he now knows his mother is a bad parent too.
- reddevil3, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Can anyone point to the website where all the episodes are available for free? I looked on the Comedy Central website and they don't have full episodes there.
- butchog, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1So true... If kids got smacked around these days, there wouldn't be all these spoiled ass brats...
- Kent767, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1@Fragalot You obviously don't know what you are talking about. I have ADD, and I still deal with it now that I'm in my adulthood. I was spanked (not abused) as a child. I can't expect anybody else to understand, my brain is just wired differently.
- Xageroth, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4haha well you get an an "A" for effort... now sit down and shutup!!
- eplawless, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I totally agree, but you have to feel for that 10% whose parents believe their child doesn't actually have a medical condition and they don't get the treatment that they need.
- roundntubby, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Here is a working link - http://www.idkwtf.com/videos/latest-videos/south-park-why-there-was-no-add-before
- spencewah, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2TERRIBLE title.
- sammysnake, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I suffer from a anxiety disorder with a general distrust of anyone I meet, while it could be related to genetics and other environmental stimuli.. I have to some how attribute it though to where in my innocent youth where sometimes I did some stuff out of pure curiosity only to be beaten as a punishment. I recognized immediately after what I did what bad and I never needed my parents to beat me over such an innocent action. I think I was too cognitively developed at that time and instead of associating my action with a bad thing, I associated doing something creative like learning with authority figures barbarically physically abusing me instead of reason.
I think it alright to beat people who are not that bright in the first place, they will associate their actions with being bad when beaten. Beat anyone who actually is thinker and it will result in emotional hurt due to reasoning out why that person just did what they did and how unreasonable they were in their actions. I really lost respect for my dad after that point. - sammysnake, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I do not understand the point of your story.. You were beaten and that some how encourages and promotes nerd like behavior?
- FRAGaLOT, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1no add before? I though this was going to be a math tutorial!
- seventoes, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3Decent Parenting = Back of Hand
- Zakiller2000, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0A little disturbing, but still funny. Oh, and yes, the title is misleading, although I thought "A.D.D." right away. Needs caps and periods.
- rufug, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Um...funny...yet somehow the "Cool Whip" Family Guy video is funnier.
- FRAGaLOT, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1Umm they DO take their kids to be "properly" diagnosed.. how else can parents get these drugs to take care of their apparent ADD ADHD problem. Unless they are getting the drugs illegally, and pumping their kids with drugs for something their kids don't need. Doctors are just too quick to diagnose these symptoms, so the drug companies can rake in millions from your insurance claims.
I still find ADD/ADHD be complete *****. It's not a disease to be treated with drugs, it's not a condition that needs therapy. THEY ARE KIDS BEING KIDS for ***** sake. Let the kids grow up and they will calm down. - bertiewooster07, on 10/12/2007, -6/+1Oooops -- my bad.
- coaxial343, on 10/12/2007, -15/+7Anyone want to go ride bikes?
- bertiewooster07, on 10/12/2007, -17/+1I luv SP, but is Digg really thinking it's litigation-proof in propagating the spread of copyrighted clips?

What is Digg?
