- le0pard, on 10/10/2007, -1/+31This is an example of why it should be a requirement to take the Motorcycle Safety Foundation riders course before you purchase a bike and are on the road :(
- Intrexed, on 10/10/2007, -4/+15that motorcycle is not worth 40k.. you have to try really hard to develop a motorcycle that costs that much..
- Hollyweird, on 10/10/2007, -11/+22If he's got $39,000 in that bike, it's in the seat compartment, probably taken from a bank he just robbed.
- bhsws2, on 10/10/2007, -0/+10Please, please, PLEASE take a motorcycle safety course before you hop on a motorcycle. It looks like this guy decided to teach himself instead....
- blurplevtx, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7A Gold Wing in 2003 was around $17k MSRP, I bought my 04 GW for under $16,000 regardless of what your link says. Even now a new 2007 Gold Wing with the air bag MSRPs for only $24k.
- KSUdesigner, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5That's like saying any 16 year old should be able to get their license without taking an exam. Driver's ed does not cover the operation of a motorcycle and it's completely different to operate than a car. God forbid some "non-idiot" have to waste their time in order to save a few lives.
- themastersb, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5*Crashes and becomes seriously hurt* *Laugh track*
- timmay, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5Because bikes like that shouldnt cost 39gs
- Urusai, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5Good bike? Excuse me, I thought it was a Harley.
- neomis, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4a touring bike from harley or honda can run around $25000 before you start adding extra chrome and pipes
- Zuhaib, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Actually its not that hard to get a Harley Davidson to cost $40k, it you take a look at a stock touring bike they cost close to $20k, and there own CVO model cost about $35k. Some of these guys cant just stop adding parts when the are shopping for these bikes.
That guy was a dumb ass who did not know what he was doing. Wast of such a good bike. - Mizzike, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3dugg for the most accurate story description today.
- mrferg, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Poor car
- mentor972, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3HAHAHA! He's DEAD!!!
- Thyris, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3I disagree w/ you. I took the training, and anyone who's f's up like that on final test day doesn't pass, which means they have to either take the course again, or study up for a DMV test. The course is very valuable, and even some of the stupidest idiots in the class picked up important skills, I would hardly call it a waste of time. your '***** idiots' are ones who don't take the class.
- MrSidnet, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3He didnt really wreck it, did he? more like a few dents and some scrapes.
- Elliuotatar, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2They should just ask you if you know where the hand brake is.
- FeartheKnighted, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Wow. What a tard.
- Tenlow, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3Try just about anything italian.
- agilbe10, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Whistles go WHOOOOO
- hippykiller, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Lucky for the rest of us he did not quite make it to the road.
- themastersb, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I think the point here is that auto companies are cheap bastards
- bigred, on 10/10/2007, -2/+3A new Honda Goldwing in 2003 was $39,900, so that's a pretty accurate price for that bike. Maybe a bit inflated as it likely wasn't brand new, but still, those things aren't cheap. Way more than I'd ever pay for a bike. He probably only did about $2000 in damage anyway.
http://www.totalmotorcycle.com/buyersguide/Honda-GoldWing-GL1800.htm - DubbedOver, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I agree, a course is mandatory here but I don't think it's does a good enough job at teaching safety. As I type this I have a friend in critical condition from a bike accident and he is unfortunately the first friend in this situation.
- Katore, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1or anything Harley Davidson
- Superbimo, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1$39k b/c he's crashed it before.
- rcran, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Hate touring bikes as well, but everyone and their brother's got a ninja man...
- jguy584, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1It wasn't the courses fault that your friend crashed, nothing can make you 100% immune on a bike.
- kd1s, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1In RI you're required to take the course before you get your motorcycle endorsement.
- Unr3a1, on 10/10/2007, -3/+4W(hy)TF are the people laughing in the video. That's not funny, that's sad for the guy even if the bike wasn't worth 39,000.
- weebit, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1Ouch!
- rawM3TAL, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1Why do you say that?!
Because he's black!?!
yay. - Dorke, on 10/10/2007, -1/+0lulz...
the racist is in love with her.
http://dangeresque0000.livejournal.com/ - nissansupragtr, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1Definitely not wrecked, most truly wrecked bikes mean a dead biker
- paris75, on 10/10/2007, -4/+3hello.. hello.. 2005 do you read me? hello
- empire360, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1that is the funniest sh!t i have ever seen!
wow, that's one way to make me laugh early monday morning!
what an idiot... - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -4/+2$39,000 may be steep, but it's way more than $10,000
- woofers07, on 10/10/2007, -5/+0That's pretty funny... Racist, but funny.
- compgeek, on 10/10/2007, -7/+2crappy bike ridden by an idiot. sorry but I hate touring bikes, give me a ninja ZX12R any day
- JD52, on 10/10/2007, -9/+3I disagree. I ***** idiot is still a ***** idiot even if you force him/her to take the course. All you would be doing is forcing non-idiots to waste their time on the course.
- fr0ng, on 10/10/2007, -7/+1hi i'm fr0ng.
- tmcleroy, on 10/10/2007, -12/+3what a *****
- DCMark4tw, on 10/10/2007, -12/+2there is NO way that bike costs $39,000. Try somewhere around $10,000. I guess thats just what he is telling his insurance company.
