    It is quite well known that the environmental cost to produce a unit of meat is far greater than vegetable products of equal nutritional value. Now that doesn't mean that you should all go vegan, but in our excessive North American society, we are consuming far more meat than we are naturally built for (see food pyramid). If we all cut the meat down and consumed responsibly, we would all be in a better environmental position.

The server yelled at me and said that they were only for vegetarians, and wouldn't even sell it to me without bacon.

    Next day I just ordered a vege burger and a side serve of bacon.
