- theblooms, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Both, but this would be mostly for hunting. I would ABSOLUTELY put a scope on it, and use it to harvest deer. The bullets are $1 each in .45/70. Not the finished round, mind you, just the actual bullets. And I do reload, so I can save a substantial amount of money there.
When I saw the prices on these, I was actually pleasantly suprised. WAY cheaper than the new S&W .500 pistols, and even cheaper than my SS Springfield Loaded .45. - valkyries, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1they made one of those during WWII but they were mini rockets. now it cost like 50$ a shot.
