He's at home (or another house), so whoever wedgied him is at least an acquaintance, maybe even a family member or friend. My big brother was be tough on me too when I was that kid's age (even though it wasn't exactly through A-wedgies), but the "bullying" only made me stronger. In fact, I'm glad he was tough. I feel like I am more mentally conditioned to adverse situations (like being sat on for ten minutes by a fat brother) than I would be without.

    Secondly, I will admit that bullying is a plague in our schools, but the blame doesn't belong to diggers. I'm sure you are commenting on physical bullying, and, from my knowledge, that mostly occurs from middle school down. If that's the case, it's the parents, supervisors, teachers, and other adults in charge of the children who are to blame. (Little side note: Psychological bullying is an ugly *****, but "separate" from physical bullying)

    You may say that the people who laugh at this are continuing the problem, but, in reality, they are not at all. And if you think that they aren't doing enough, well, what are they supposed to do? Unless the digger is a parent/relative of children or in a position of authority over children, they won't make any actual change in a child's life.

    Personally, I think it's funny. I think we can all relate to the situation, and that's where we find the humor in it. Not everyone is as sadistic as you have been conditioned to believe.
