Instead his final action seems to be self-initiated rather than provoked by his misunderstanding someone else, and culminates in a nonsequitor joke about being tasered in the ass. The routine doesn't really go anywhere; it's a set-up for a really funny bomb or ironic twist at the end that doesn't really occur.
