It was 'different', with a long setup, but I had a hard time not roffling when the date confessed to Jen he was gay, and she looked kind of mannish.

Fourth time's the charm. - mohammadahsan, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1i just started watching this show, and i have to say ITs hilarious! and it doesn't fall back on the usual British TV show formulas for the most part where they repeat good jokes and ride 'em throughout the series, with slight variations. originally came out in '06 season one is a must watch too!
- stimpack, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1That's maybe worse, it becomes impossible to remove the laughter away later if they wish to do a 'classy' release. I'm not against people laughing of course, but the way they make them laugh at every single thing. So when there is a joke that is mildly funny and the audience goes into hysterics, it removes any kind of immersion.

- kd1s, on 10/10/2007, -2/+2The series is brilliant. I've heard they're going to make a U.S. version but it will fail miserably. Maybe I'm wrong though, The Office seems to have taken off here. But th IT Crowd is just too british in humor.
