- adit, on 10/10/2007, -1/+54There's a twist at the end.
- Stuckpixel, on 10/10/2007, -0/+40If one does not "get" British comedy, one does not belong in geekdom. Now kindly go away, Sir.
- Skelly11, on 10/10/2007, -4/+42The IT croud is just amazin

- DokGonzo, on 10/10/2007, -0/+30Damn you!
- Stuckpixel, on 10/10/2007, -0/+29Any show with a "Home sewing is killing fashion" pasted up is ok by me.
- stotty, on 10/10/2007, -0/+25Because it's a British comedy. What a redundant question that shows a lack of any intelligence and thought on your part.
- 8ight, on 10/10/2007, -1/+23live studio audience. how many times must we explain this?!?
- tizz66, on 10/10/2007, -0/+21Sorry to be pedantic, but he's Irish, not British ;)
- Stuckpixel, on 10/10/2007, -1/+19You guys do realize one of the main characters is wearing a Meh. shirt in half the episode?

- Anoobis, on 10/10/2007, -1/+15I care about it, in fact I love it, no need to watch this though as I've just watched the first three episodes back to back.
- Audacitor, on 10/10/2007, -0/+13*smack*
- ropers, on 10/10/2007, -0/+12LOL. Love the Armin Meiwes reference:

Dude even pretty much looks like the original. - robrichard, on 10/10/2007, -1/+13Last weeks was the lamest ever. Denholm was much funnier than the new boss.
- Jokermx, on 10/10/2007, -3/+14pmuse, what's wrong with you?! This is the best sitcom since Seinfield. Doesn't matter if it's overrated or not, it's still an awesome show.
- rufusio, on 10/10/2007, -0/+10FAAAAAAATHHHHHHHERRRRRR! Last weeks was much better
- andrewry, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9High quality IT Crowd episodes were uploaded on Stage6:
http://stage6.divx.com/The-IT-Crowd - theright, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9"Jorg... Jorg, such fire. I am too tired for revolution, and we've walked [bleep]ing miles..."
- Jonjonjonny, on 10/10/2007, -1/+9Bring back Chris Morris.
- tizz66, on 10/10/2007, -0/+8Channel 4 is a public channel, funded by commercials - it's not a commercial channel :)
- resplence, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7I agree. Their first boss, Denholm, was the most awesome thing I've ever witnesses on a tv series. For some reason they killed him in season 2.
- theright, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7Much as I like Channel 4 and the IT Crowd, 4od is absolute rubbish.
- Wang, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7The show is great! You only have to watch it to find that out :)
- pu-z, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7SO much more practical than dialing 999.
- tizz66, on 10/10/2007, -1/+7I personally find it a little ironic they complain too, especially when you watch American shows with a live audience, and when something mildly funny is said, the crowd erupts, claps, and generally go crazy. I guess us Brits are just more reserved in general.
Besides, I don't see the problem with audience laughter anyway. It's scientifically proven that people find things funnier when others are laughing with them, and that's what audience laughter does - help the person watching to laugh along loudly. I remember there were a few episodes of Only Fools that had no audience for some reason, and they're just wrong. Something hilarious happens and it's just silence. Nope, we definitely like audience laughter here. - ahawks, on 10/10/2007, -1/+7Season 1 was funny.
Season 2 episode 1 was hilarious (best so far)
Season 2, episodes 2 and 3 have been very sub-par. Way too over-the-top, and just... not funny.
I wish they'd actually followed through with the "To Be Continued..." at the end of season 1. - hamdevguru, on 10/10/2007, -1/+7Excellent comedy, Series 2 is far better than the first.
Get it properly (and free) on Channel 4OD: http://www.channel4.com/4od/ - Icebox3, on 10/10/2007, -5/+11There's no such thing as a "British accent".
- resplence, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5Denholm had me in his first take.
- ropers, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4which is not available to most of the world.
- HAKdragon, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5Why is joshuagor44 a dumbass? I can't read this *****.
- PawFox, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Love the show, it's annoying I'm at work when it shown
"JEN, Is Roy off the phone yet? The spider is now upon my person."
Best comedy I've seen in a while - JJayUK, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Probably because that would be incredibly dull. It's not about computers, but the computer obsessed and their attitude to various working and social situations.
- jeremynicolas, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4He's talking about 4od. Which sucks because of those limitations. It's the same with the BBC's player — neither welcome macs.
- culbeda, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3I miss him as well, but I wouldn't say that the episodes have been getting worse. The episode 1 was just stellar. I don't know how they COULD keep that pace going, although I really enjoyed the Soviet/smoking bit in Ep 3.
"A gay musical called Gay. That's quite... gay." - D3koy, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4http://www.thinkgeek.com/tshirts/generic/8753/
- tizz66, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3It would ruin the Office because the whole point of the office is that it's a documentary. It's a different kind of comedy.
- gfnw, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4Is the concept of a live audience really that alien to American viewers? Every time I see something like this posted it always gets a bunch of "OMG LAFF TRAKK SUX!!".
- autosuggested, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Nope, it was a live studio audience. I should know, I was one of them!
- GeekyGerge, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3I totally agree. I loved the first series like mad. But i think they've chosen a different type of comedy this series... It used to be quite sarcastic
- hiro, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4Wrong, it's much better!
- wush, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4I'm British - anyway, the laughter is captured on separate microphones and consciously included, isn't it? I know it's a matter of opinion, but reminding the viewer that it is funny time every few seconds really grates.
- dwhs, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2First time seeing it, awesome show
- pipedreambomb, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2The Office was fantastic, mold-breaking stuff. However, I'm also a huge fan of the Steve Carrell one too. It's a different kind of funny, but once they stopped trying to ape the BBC version, the show really took off and just got better and better, imo.
- mjlazlow, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Flippin' amazing! I was lucky enough to see Episode 6 of the series filmed at Pinewood, it's a great finale!
- culbeda, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Over-the-top, yes. "Sub-par" (meaning not quite as good as the stellar, previous episodes) perhaps. But "not funny"? I can't agree. And over-the-top doesn't exclude an episode from being funny. "Aunt Urma" (S1E6) was over well the top and it was funny.
