well, you have to give them a little slack. 99% of these kinda pictures are posted anonymously on sites like 4chan, and then distributed to forums along the known edge of the interweb. it'd require a lot of investigation to figure out where most of these pictures actually came from, let alone their authors. The 4channers just took a random picture, someone else's "credit", and slapped a comment on it. Not a lot of effort involved, and since everyone in /b/ is anonymous, you can't credit them if you wanted to.
