That... was brilliant. - JGuest, on 10/12/2007, -0/+17Sounds like you've figured out his character....
- brstilson, on 10/12/2007, -0/+16He was more relaxed this time. Seems like he accepted fact that you can't argue with someone who agrees with everything you say.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -11/+27"By your retard logic Digg is full of spam. "
that's exactly the case, retard.
link directly to youTube and save us the scenic route through your lame-ass blog.
please. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+13comment abuse, but it's worthy.

and for completeness sake:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ErWU4AW2dUc (o'reilly on stewart) - theturnmaster, on 10/12/2007, -3/+16they both played their part fantastically on both interviews. I can't believe people take o'reilly so seriously. It's called playing to your audience and taking it too the bank. think eminem.
applause to them both - tonage, on 10/12/2007, -3/+12So people who do not share your distorted bias politics can go to hell? You idiot.
- k0sty, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9@tonage
i don't know if you heard about this:
http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2004/09/28/entertainment/main646002.shtml
but in reality (which colbert reminded us has a well established liberal bias) the typical viewer of the daily show is more likely to be educated, and is more likely to be able to answer questions about current events. the fact is that in order to get the jokes on "the daily show" or the satire on "the colbert report" you need to be in touch with current events. in fact one of the reasons that the shows are popular is because they make fun of the media's failure to report on the crazy stuff that politicians do, rather than the politicians themselves. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+11i'm a conservative. bill o'rielly's just an *****.
- sovereign3, on 10/12/2007, -2/+10I almost felt sorry for Bil O'Reilly. Colbert managed to subtly humiliate him by covering his face on the cover of his book, showing the Photoshopped picture of Bill in a revealing leather suit, and mocking his show. Bill walked into almost every trap and was completely unarmed and unprepared to engage in a trade of wits with Colbert. One has to wonder why he even appeared on the show? I'm guessing it won't happen again.
- donjaime, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7Man O'Reilly is a goddamn racist. He bags on Stephen for having a French last name, and then in the Colbert Report he says that Brian Williams IS Hugo Chavez since he's from Venezuela.
My mom was born in Venezuela, and she hates Chavez. If someone made fun of my mother like that I would seriously kick his ass. - ROFLance, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6bill vs. steven
i thought it was gonna be bill gates vs. steve jobs... lol - flazz, on 10/12/2007, -9/+15@masterOfNone
give him a break, he's hustling his blog. it works just as good as youtube (still streamed from youtube), and his blog is not intrusive in any way. what is the difference if people read his comments or click on his ads as opposed to youtube's or digg's?
why don't you submit the youtube link to digg directly and save us all from his horrible blog, and by all i mean not me, because his blog got to me first via digg, and i don't feel the need to watch it again. i guess i'm just not a purist. - Moloth, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5well, good.. you two have something in common, then.
- xenoploid, on 10/12/2007, -8/+13***** off bloggers.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Bill should've brought a bear to intimidate Stephen.
- PoVRAZOR, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5I don't care for a defined political view, but I agree, he's an *****.
- flazz, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5yes, plastered all over digg ... and comedy central. the only way
- growler1, on 10/12/2007, -3/+7Best comment of Steven's to me yet is still the "sexual predator" zing at the very beginning of the show. I'm not even sure Bill got it--he just sat there stunned while the shot went right across his bow.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4whoo hoo! i've been waiting for these interviews since the colbert report first came on...
They had the Jon Stewart O'Reilly interviews early and it just whetted my appetite.
way to go Papa Bear for stepping up to the plate - Moloth, on 10/12/2007, -3/+7Bill had a second or two to respond, but totally blew it. Colbert totally dominated this one...
- yableo, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6nailed
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Opening with mission accomplished banner $100.00,
30% off on O'liley's book cover $ 1.99 ( I am being generous for Bill here )
and photoshopped leather pic of O'Liley.......PRICELESS!!! - Clearz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Did anyone notice when Colbert said about Stewart being a sexual predator and that O'Reilly had no idea of what that is like there was a few seconds of awkwardness. Wasn't O'Reilly being done for sexual harassment before. I think Colbert said that and then thought oops shouldn't have said that of maybe he knew and was just digging O'Reilly one in the ribs. Some of the crowd noticed because there was some uneasy giggles. But then again maybe I just read into stuff too much.
- Bartboy919, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The ***** he didnt mind, he knew what he was getting into and got slaughtered,
- incabulos, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4pwned
- Bartboy919, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1How dare you belittle the might Colbert!!
- spencewah, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1"You have no idea what that's like"
- kierskoe, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2None of them are funny when they are the interviewer... but are funny when they are the interviewee.
First time ive ever seen or heard him, but O'Reilly is a pretentious ratbag. - SilentSpyder, on 10/12/2007, -5/+5*****, I didn't care at first but now even I'm getting tired of the blog spam. From now on I'm labeling these as SPAM. Maybe I'll search for a dupe with the youtube direct and digg that.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1tonage, this may be a surprise but there is no hell. It's just an expression. ;)
- OReillyFacts, on 12/27/2007, -0/+0http://oreillyfacts.googlepages.com/
^go there. It has quotes from the Bill himself, as well as links to some horrible stuff he has said/endorsed. It will be updated as often as possible. - elnerdo, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1You do realize that O'Reilly was speaking some sarcasm as well, right? Just because he's not a comedian doesn't mean that everything he said (especially on these interviews) is completely serious.
- raynar, on 10/12/2007, -6/+5Welcome to the 2.0 generation. Where TV and the Internet thinks for them.
- agentfoxtrot, on 10/12/2007, -9/+7O'Reilly was funnier than Colbert.
- Clark3934, on 10/12/2007, -8/+4You really like to look deeply into things, don't you? You probably think all your friends are secretly making digs at you all all the time. Relax. I think it was all in good fun, Bill didn't mind.
- tonage, on 10/12/2007, -12/+6Colbert looks like a little kid at playtime during the whole thing. That is all he is about. Hard to believe some morons base their political ideals on what is basically a comedy skit.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -14/+8my god, can everyone PLEASE stop crying about blogspam??? if you don't like it, then YOU submit the story with the direct link to youtube.
in the end, what difference does it make? you still watch the video...i don't care whose logo is at the top of the page, or whose ads are on the page - all the same. - m00kie, on 10/12/2007, -9/+1Colbert seemed really, really nervous. I thought comedians were intelligent guys, you know. But this guy was too afraid to have a "real" conversation.
- relativ6, on 10/12/2007, -8/+0Stephen Colbert is afraid of BEARS... find out why here...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T...h? v=TUX0UKg3Jdw - relativ6, on 10/12/2007, -10/+0Stephen Colbert is afraid of BEARS... find out why here...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TUX0UKg3Jdw - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -17/+6o'rielly showed more class in those two interviews last night than he's shown in his entire miserable life.
he still deserves a particularly brutal place in hell... but he looked good last night for 10 minutes. - slipgrid, on 10/12/2007, -17/+6LOL, that site has no more ads than digg does. No banners, only text ads. Only one unit. And if you go to the site, you get the link to the other YouTube video.
- usedwigs, on 10/12/2007, -14/+3colbert, congrats, you've jumped the shark. the schtick is officially tired.
- SlackerCSB, on 10/12/2007, -19/+6Colbert came across as obnoxious.
- tonage, on 10/12/2007, -17/+3Colbert is a fony. Why this loser is plastered all over Digg every day makes no sense to me. Guess that is the only way he gets anyone to see him.
- Glugory, on 10/12/2007, -39/+6By your retard logic Digg is full of spam.
Oh, and that wasn't quite as good as I was hoping, but I love how they left the sticker on O'Reilly's face. Awesome.
