Besides, they both have a bit more evil in them and that's what the incest is probably intent on illustrating: This isn't your traditional Vision-paired Scarlet Witch.
If, on the other hand, you were trying to write a Wikipedia article about the canonical Quicksilver & Scarlet Witch NOT having an incestuous relationship, you'd get hounded with [citation needed] tags. She was a superhero in the model of Mary Marvel (say magic word & transform into a flying superwoman) who was created with the sole purpose of being repeatedly raped by her creator, Dr. Gargunza. True, the creator is the bad guy and she had no control over the situation, but it doesn't make her existence any less creepy in my mind... a super rape victim.

Mark Millar is the guy who took over for sick and twisted genius Warren Ellis on The Authority and did the unthinkable: made the book even more deranged and warped. His first story arc there ended with the Midnighter (think Batman) sodomizing the Commander (think Captain America) with a jackhammer for beating and raping his gay lover, Apollo (think Superman). Oh, and it seems like I remember the jackhammer incident taking place on the White House lawn...
