  • ersatzphi, on 10/12/2007, -2/+15There has been a consistent supply of funny skits and videos from SNL recently yet we keep seeing these "omg SNL is funny again" comments. They're starting to get a bit annoying.
  • gaqua, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11Weekend Update, the Digital Shorts, and TV Funhouse are the most consistently funny parts of SNL. Most of the sketches aren't that funny in my opinion, but this clip is pretty good. Weekend update has to try to be better than The Daily Show, though, and that's a challenge.

    The other week a lot of the weekend update jokes were from offbeat news I had recently read in the digg section. Not saying the writers definitely read digg, but it's a possibility they use it when looking for jokes.

    The "really" bit is a rip off of a MAD TV skit, which is bad enough. But being unfunny, that's unpardonable. Really.
