- therodersabides, on 03/14/2008, -7/+257While this picture is as old as the internets, it still makes me smile every time.
- stouffer67, on 03/14/2008, -1/+216Does anyone even use Real Player anymore?

- zephc, on 03/14/2008, -1/+128An engraving of it was brought to the New World on the Mayflower
- redfox2600, on 03/14/2008, -1/+117Backed up on a CD? I have it backed up on my magnetic drum.
- sdrawkcabton88, on 03/14/2008, -29/+143i think my grandma took this picture
- qwkredfox, on 03/14/2008, -1/+110That "Buffering..." paper was there for 4 months because the Real Player Employees were soo used to seeing it no one noticed.
- roadtripper, on 03/14/2008, -1/+110no kidding. no offense to any Real Player employees, but whenever i see *any* site that uses or requires Real Player to watch a video/listen to music, i can't jump URLs quick enough. i'm amazed people/sites still continue to use Real Player.
- Xondar, on 03/14/2008, -0/+93It was depicted in ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics in Tutankhamen's tomb.
- JAGUART, on 03/14/2008, -0/+91With offense to Real Player employees and executives, your company is *****.
- JorgeGT, on 03/14/2008, -1/+89Obviously copied from prehistoric paintings in caves...
- wontstoptalking, on 03/14/2008, -13/+100^Reading through the comments, I was just waiting for someone to just flat out say that.
- hughgilmore, on 03/14/2008, -5/+75I have this image on laser disc
- thenativeraver, on 03/14/2008, -12/+78VLC>all other media players=True!

- hughgilmore, on 03/14/2008, -3/+47OmG LoL! I'm forwarding that to my aunt right now! Just a quick question, do you know why the dial tone for AOL sometimes doesn't work? I tried changing the number AOL dials but it doesn't work. Help! :P ;) XD
- daedalous, on 03/14/2008, -0/+43My school does for some unknown reason. Then again, my computer teacher is an old man who thinks irfanview can completely replace Photoshop. /sob
- ThinkBox, on 03/14/2008, -0/+42Lemme guess, you are on your lunch break from REAL HQ....
VLC is awesome. - quomen, on 03/14/2008, -1/+42Xenu forged the picture from his own hands.
- zephc, on 03/14/2008, -4/+45How did they get a baby to dance? It must be a really smart baby!
- ControlcChris, on 03/14/2008, -6/+46Long cat is LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG
- longbow486, on 03/14/2008, -1/+36WinAmp (before they got bought by AOL)
- highPhone, on 03/14/2008, -3/+37God was pasting it when he decided he had better things to do so he created the universe
- tas08, on 03/14/2008, -0/+31No, the exact same scenario won't play out twice on the same comment thread.
- Matt2k, on 03/14/2008, -1/+32Well, I can remember back in '95 the first time listing to a "CD quality" broadcast stream through real player and being just mesmerized by the possibilities. This was when dialup or if you were fortunate enough to have ISDN was the standard means of access.
They've sustained, and ruined themselves since with an overly aggressive marketing and sales department that brokers deals with people who don't know any better. And a sneaky website that does everything in its power to hide the free version. - gnslngr1919, on 03/14/2008, -14/+44Feel free to not look or comment on it.
- Mahstah, on 03/14/2008, -2/+32Think RealPlayer's bad? Try loading a Digg page with Firefox. CPU=100% for 10s every time. No power system here, but should be better. P4 2.8 1.5GB RAM.
- inactive, on 03/14/2008, -3/+31This just proves that Real life sucks.
- inactive, on 03/14/2008, -2/+29Does she start buffering before orgasm?
- TomFrost, on 03/14/2008, -0/+26Bury the troll, block the troll.. just don't feed it.
- shadowblade989, on 03/14/2008, -0/+25Okay....I'll digg it AGAIN
- quomen, on 03/14/2008, -1/+26I hate ***** Real Player.
- DrywallThief, on 03/15/2008, -1/+25Nah, they noticed right away. It just took them a while to walk over to it with all that buffering per step and all.
- revjustin2, on 03/14/2008, -1/+24Are you starting a museum?
- LongShlong, on 03/14/2008, -13/+35Probably... This has to be one of the oldest pictures on the internet.
- 3amboo, on 03/14/2008, -0/+22dugg for your grandma
- isewise, on 03/15/2008, -1/+22Yea, I hate when I open a digg story page that has like 500+ comments. Slows down Firefox like molasses in the winter.
- mateusap, on 03/14/2008, -1/+21Ad-ware, of course.
- therightclique, on 03/15/2008, -0/+19VLC's interface is pure garbage, but its feature set and capabilities are amazing. and they don't have ads everywhere and it just ***** works. if it had a media player classic like interface, it'd be my only media player.
- KhaaL, on 03/14/2008, -1/+20I'll propably get dugg down for saying this, but real player for linux isn't *that* bad. It's way cleaner that it's windows counterpart.
But it still can't beat mplayer and VLC. - ElBeh, on 03/14/2008, -0/+18[Comment buffering]
- FortyCaliber, on 03/14/2008, -2/+19um AOL dial-up questions far predate "XD"
- Frustian, on 03/15/2008, -0/+17I can and will complain about it. Both the low bitrate files they have, and that they are using realplayer.
- grumpyrain, on 03/14/2008, -1/+17Irfanview FTW
... but no, it can not replace photoshop. - jbarefoot, on 03/14/2008, -1/+17Do YOU realize a comment just like this has already be said so it doesn't need to be repeated over and over again?
