probably, as he would be a 2000 year old immortal. - chadsexingtime, on 07/09/2009, -32/+123A rational person?
- elliotys, on 07/09/2009, -8/+74So, I'm not a fan of jesus, what does that make me?
- AndrewLeon, on 07/09/2009, -1/+66Death. It's become a good career move.
- mariojas, on 07/09/2009, -4/+64So Kelly is one of their names...
- Nicholas1989, on 07/09/2009, -12/+63"Would you be a fan of Jesus if he hadn't died?"
No, and no one else would either. If Jesus had only died, everything he had said would have been proven false immediately. It's his resurrection that people follow him for. Without that, you've just got someone claiming to be the son of God. - scooterbaga, on 07/09/2009, -2/+50Damn, I never thought of that. Seems like such an obvious scenario. ...Especially after seeing The Prestige.
- FallenTurtles, on 07/09/2009, -8/+55What are Michael Jackson, Farrah Fawcett, and Billy Mays getting for Christmas?
Patrick Swayze
See you in hell everybody! - farboo, on 07/09/2009, -3/+48Well, he'd be 2000 years old. Wouldn't prove that he was immortal.
- undervalued, on 07/09/2009, -12/+44Jesus fanboys say whoa!

- kingmanic, on 07/09/2009, -1/+23If a guy didn't die after 2000 years I may consider worshipping him.
- merdok, on 07/09/2009, -0/+21Ooh a technicality, I like it.
Here is a question then, In the highlander its possible for someone to die under certain circumstances, does that mean they are immortal or not? Because immortal surely means beyond mortal. - thegrantman, on 07/09/2009, -1/+16Jewish?
- scottcxv, on 07/09/2009, -0/+14it was already a great career move Shakespeare and Mozart became famous after they died
- merreborn, on 07/09/2009, -2/+16Yeah, but he had to die to be resurrected.
Of course, if he'd never died, that would have been pretty remarkable too. - scooterbaga, on 07/09/2009, -1/+13So in your mind does a photo of Megan Fox tell you she's a genius?

- SifuMoKung, on 07/09/2009, -0/+11If Michael Jackson had returned after three days I would have become a fan on Facebook.
- Hetman, on 07/09/2009, -3/+14I personally would have to chop his head off. There can be only one.
- socondi, on 07/09/2009, -0/+11Well, Kelley is ousted by the third commenter.

- Berkana, on 07/09/2009, -0/+10You're mistaken. The Bible says all will resurrect for Judgment day.
- kenhatesemos, on 07/09/2009, -1/+11well he "died for our sins." so yes, the dying is just as big a deal as his ressurection.
- twodollars, on 07/09/2009, -0/+8Looker there, it jus moved!
- SifuMoKung, on 07/09/2009, -0/+8That was the wrongest kinda funny there is.

- directedition, on 07/09/2009, -0/+6I don't know. I'm pretty sure I'd be a fan of any dude who is 2000 years old.
- farboo, on 07/09/2009, -0/+6If you can die, you're not immortal. It may be *hard* for you to die, but that's relative; immortality is absolute.

- rootlinuxusr, on 07/09/2009, -0/+4Ladies and gentlemen of the jury. Dante Hicks is just like you. He lurves grape soda. He knows what it's like when the guy at the supermarket won't take your "food stamps". Or how it feels to wait all month for your "welfare check".
- detcade, on 07/10/2009, -0/+4meme detection fail
and really fail in general - LoopyChew, on 07/10/2009, -0/+4I always figured "invincible" meant that no external forces could destroy you, whereas "immortal" meant you could live forever. Basically, if you're invincible, you can't be killed but you can die of old age; if you're immortal, you can't die of old age but you can be killed by, say, a guy beheading you.
