- Shorties, on 10/12/2007, -1/+179Poor Porky, there is no way he will win now. Why does this ***** always come out right before the elections.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+67From Wikipedia:
Sometimes Porky would don work clothes. In a short clip that was originally intended just for the crew of cartoonists, and with relaxed standards has been seen on television from time to time (such as Warner's 75th Anniversary show), Porky is on a rooftop, wearing bib overalls, hammering nails. He mashes his thumb with the hammer, and cries, "Son of a b-b-b-, son of a b-b-b-, son of a b-b-b-... gun!" He then turns to the camera and says, stutter-free, "You thought I was going to say 'son of a bitch', didn't you?!" - daeyeth, on 10/12/2007, -1/+41would of been stronger if you didn't state the entire joke in the summary
- BananaGrabber, on 10/12/2007, -2/+24In a somewhat related note, this old Nazi Donald Duck cartoon is great.
http://youtube.com/watch?v=x68WFyG0av4 - theone3, on 10/12/2007, -1/+23Subtle like NASCAR
- devindotcom, on 10/12/2007, -1/+18Yeah, it's like saying, "I heard this great joke where a chicken crosses the road to get to the other side! Wanna hear it?!"
but good cartoon anyway. - Kypt, on 10/12/2007, -0/+13Things like what? Like a comedy video inside the comedy video category? You can block 'em out you know?
- mt066, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12Yeah but if it was "HILARIOUS Porky Pig MUST SEE@@@" I probably would have ignored it
- perryb, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9Ditto. The title is the spoiler!
- Ezekiel25:17, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8I had heard that audio clip before, but now I have a visual. Thanks!
- Broccoli, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Awkwardly creep me it did not.
- triont, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Still YouTube but better quality
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jQruczadBfc - nofxjunkee, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5I love collecting those old cartoons. I hope I can find that one in better quality somewhere.

Wikiality. Don't question it. - spyrochaete, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5In Loony Tunes' defence, the cartoons are rated PG. Check the back of any Loony Tunes VHS or DVD.
- airship, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5I've been an animation aficianado since way before the Internet was even conceived, and I can tell you this is an authentic Porky Pig clip which was produced by those wacky animators at Warner Bros.'s 'Termite Terrace' for their own amusement. Legend has it that it was created for showing at a birthday party (possibly Leon Schlesinger's). It's a miracle a print survived.
Of more historical interest are the 'banned' Warner Bros. cartoons that were actually released, but are no longer broadcast because they are not politically correct. My favorites in this genre are 'Red Hot Riding Hood', and 'Coal Black and De Sebben Dwarfs'.
The oft-discussed 'Censored 11' are WB cartoons with a racist twist which were withheld from distribution starting in 1968: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Censored_11 - inmatarian, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Heh, I remember seeing a whole load of these banned cartoons once. Anyone who has some time to kill should look up the Private Snafu cartoons. ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Private_Snafu )
- ohearn, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Insert required "Think of the children" here.
Seriously people have gotten so uptight about things like this anymore. A little profanity or even nudity (not even going to think about anyone getting off on Porky the Pig) is not all that bad people. We want to sensor language and nudity so much, but I swear if we I think no one would say a thing if we started broadcasting death row executions on public television. This country (and the world in general) is just messed up at times. - totalshredder, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4@ Matt
We all know how nobody can hack the wikipedia and change it's entries. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Im using FF2 and its working for me.
- jdaws47, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3It came out a couple years ago on DVD:

It's got a bunch of other great WWII Disney cartoons as well. - mariusaz, on 10/12/2007, -5/+8Oh no!!!
- Damaso, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3At least Betty Boop was much more subtle!
- mutatron, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3No, not fake. You young whippersnappers try to appear intelligent by calling "Fake!" on everything! I'm old enough to have seen that on tv when I was a kid, and I think I've seen it more recently back when Nick At Night or the Cartoon Channel used to play those old cartoons.
- jstem1994, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2It's real. I remember this as a kid... Even then thought it was no big deal.
- Matt2k, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3I thought that too, but there seems to be some credibility to it. While not authoritative, Wikipedia mentions this clip specifically.
- REpler, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1This is why Warner Bros. has always rocked over weak-ass Disney
- kodekitten, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1That box set posted above is absolutely excellent. I have it and I'm really glad I purchased it. It has tons of extras, a full length film, Disney war training videos, and tons of other stuff. If you appreciate Der Furhrer's Face, you'll appreciate the whole set.
- REpler, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Thanks for this addtl info. They were on Google video, very interesting.
- OwdenBowden, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Nice. Big question is - does anyone know where you can get any of the banned Cartoons online besides the tube (who eventually pull it). I am looking for old Bugs Bunny cartoons with Nature boy and more. Help it is a mater of freedom that these cartoons are placed on the net for all to see. Eventually I can place a copy of Bugs Bunny Nips the Nips online for all to enjoy.
- jstem1994, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I remember getting a DVD off of Netflix that was some kind of taboo, bad-bad cartoon collection.
Mostly just racially offensive jokes against blacks, some Irish jokes (police brutality & alcohol), Nazi & Japanese stuff. Some were quite dull & others were like "Wow! Did they really just do that?" - Clp727, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I'm almost 40 and I thought it was hilarious!
- gardnert1, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1I've heard worse from cartoon characters.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0I don't get it.
Is it wrong to say "son of a bitch" or something? - Steelfox, on 10/12/2007, -7/+3Did anyone else this awkwardly creepy?
- Maagic, on 10/12/2007, -7/+3So bury it, eat a dick and move on.
- phillyjo, on 10/12/2007, -15/+1error with link, only code is displayed heres a snipet: So you can see it should be linking to youtube. This only occurs in firefox 2? anyone else?

- striker1211, on 10/12/2007, -23/+5lol @ kerry reference
- ZenMojo, on 10/12/2007, -21/+3Classy. I've actually seen that before. He's gotten raunchier, though.
- Red_Eye, on 10/12/2007, -24/+1FFS this isn't new, news, tech related, or slightly interesting to anyone over the age of 5 who doesn't get a giggle fit over a bad word.
- hornfinger, on 10/12/2007, -28/+3Stop the press: Porky Pig said Bitch forty years ago!
- Petrarch1603, on 10/12/2007, -41/+2i thought digg adjusted to a new algorithim to prevent things like this making front page
