- allenh, on 10/16/2009, -3/+32Wasn't there a Beck for That in 1990?
- executex, on 10/15/2009, -3/+29Obviously, the Republicans who constantly talk about religion (separation of church and state), talk badly about our government (close to treason), make up scientific links, or attempt to treat homosexuals as second-class citizens, should be kicked out of the Republican party. None of the things I've just mentioned fall in line with the founding fathers' ideals and are not part of any conservative ideology (I'm conservative) but more of a fascist-lunatic ideology.
- badqat, on 10/16/2009, -1/+20Indeed. It's time to take back the party based on its original ideals. Some may think that's a step backwards, but it's the only way forward if the party is to survive.
Bigots, racists, homophobes have no place in our party. - traldan, on 10/17/2009, -2/+16Clever play on the iPhone commercial. Frightening implications.
- algaeturd, on 10/17/2009, -2/+12This is ***** hilarious and scary at the same time. When you line these idiots up and consider the implications of these people representing the 'interests' of the American people, it should scare everyone with a sane mind. It's ridiculous that we even need to point out how ludicrous this stuff is, yet we do because so many people agree with them.
Disinformation: The last ditch effort of the GOP to scare people into doing everything they're told. - Samohtneas, on 10/17/2009, -4/+12This video might be a bit biased, because we all know Democrats are just as good at being politicians as the GOP.
But ***** it all if the GOP isn't a pro group at representing the stereotype of ignorant politicians. (Even if that's biased too.) - BoneStamp, on 10/16/2009, -1/+8With that strategy, you might actually win back some liberals who are generally conservative but are currently aligned with the liberal party because they feel strongly that all humans deserve equal rights.
- CronosPerros, on 10/17/2009, -4/+9I really don't find calling Republicans and conservatives "crazy" or "lunatics" to be accurate, nor is it fair in any way when discussing people with far right beliefs. The important thing to remember is that these are not people that suffer from some sort of mental handicap or condition and calling them that is simply not right. These are NOT crazy people...
... these are really, really stupid people. These are people that have CHOSEN to be, and are PROUD of being stupid morons. Calling them crazy takes the responsibility out of their hands. People are dumb because they choose to be dumb. Let's remember that. These are idiots we're dealing with here, not the mentally challenged. - sputnikv, on 10/17/2009, -1/+5The common and continual mischiefs of the spirit of party are sufficient to make it the interest and duty of a wise people to discourage and restrain it. -George Washington
- algaeturd, on 10/17/2009, -1/+4Nothing is scarier than the truth.
- TecK415, on 10/17/2009, -2/+5Brilliant. Can people please post some links to Michele Bachmann videos? The best of the worst. Everything that slithers out of her mouth makes me laugh, even though it's scary that people actually follow this lunatic... Sometimes ya just got to laugh.
- nedserb, on 10/17/2009, -1/+4They deserve a voice? I'll bet you use the word bias a lot.
You're basically equating criticism to censorship or repression. But the views expressed by these gasbags and bigots should be shown for the ugliness it celebrates and they should be rejected. The Republicans want to hurt people, want to defend those who would seek to hurt people, and protect a social and moral environment that justifies hurting people. What do you feel is appropriate in the face of this pernicious bloviating? - sh0em0nkey, on 10/17/2009, -1/+3Being a conservative myself, I agree, as a whole, with this statement.
And I think it's time for far left liberals to do the same.
In general, I feel that a lot of voices for either party should be thrown out. Some of our leaders are so far out there you should just consider them gone. Unfortunately, they are not gone, and are somehow elected for term after term - which is beyond me.
You can be sure, when / if the first bullet is shot in the name of a sane revolution, I'll be right there with them - regardless of party affiliation. Not because I believe war and violence are the solution, but because I'm willing to go that far to pry this country from the lunatics, liars, and thieves. - inactive, on 10/17/2009, -1/+3Rape for That
- Maddoktor2, on 10/17/2009, -1/+3I will defend to the death anyone's right to hold and voice an opinion, but when that "opinion" is a willful lie crafted with the sole intent of disseminating disinformation for the purpose of instilling fear, it deserves no voice and I will do my utmost to silence it with facts. Period.
- RagManX, on 10/17/2009, -1/+2I disagree that the crazies deserve a voice in the gov't. That's why we're so widely divided now.
- skipvt, on 10/17/2009, -2/+3Yet, it seems, the fascist-lunatics are the voice of the GOP. I don't see *any* effort to dismiss or debunk the ideology or the message. Maybe it's time that all the non bigots, racists and homophobes who count themselves as republicians take a hard look at whether they want to be a party to such.
It's a lot easier to hate than to understand.
It's a lot easier to say no instead of yes. - woodsjransom, on 10/17/2009, -1/+2That is why I like you so much.
- center311, on 10/17/2009, -2/+3There was a study about Colbert Report viewers. The majority of "conservative" viewers didn't see the show a clearly being Satire. It just goes to show that most of these Rep are retarded.
- traldan, on 10/17/2009, -1/+2One-sided, perhaps, but biased? Not so much.
- chargerland, on 10/17/2009, -1/+1dugg for making fun of republicans and apple at the same time!
- Sil369, on 10/17/2009, -2/+2i wish i could digg this thrice
- center311, on 10/17/2009, -2/+2http://digg.com/d3plX2
- Maddoktor2, on 10/17/2009, -1/+1Why, thank you! :)
- nedserb, on 10/17/2009, -2/+1A bit biased? To expose the mendacity and absurdity of the current crop of Republicans in Congress, relying on their own words or verbal flatulence, is regarded as almost equivalent to the ***** these Republicans revel in is biased?
I don't think you actually understand what that word means. - SevereFlame, on 10/17/2009, -3/+1I always thought it was saying "app"
- penholder, on 10/17/2009, -5/+1<sarcasm>Wow, I'm glad he put Parody in the title, or else I would have never known...</sarcasm>
- representDLV, on 10/17/2009, -10/+4While a lot of their views may be ridiculous, they are called reps cuz they are representatives. They represent a like minded individuals. There are a lot of crazy people in this country. And while I may not agree with them, they deserve to have a voice.
